Kroger Deli Deli
201 S Main St, East Peoria

“Bought an 8 piece fried chicken box, have had it before and it's usually fresh but this time it was kinda dry and old. Still ate it as it was going to be dinner after a very long day away work. The guy who helped us was nice and helpful but there were not many items to choose from for sides.“

“My wife and I got 2 cheese burgers expecting just regular burgers, but they are double cheese burgers that were very well cooked with mozzarella sticks and fries each. Great food compared to some of the other places there at reasonable prices. We will eat there every time now.“

“Good sandwiches, quick friendly service, and very reasonably priced. Very tasty bread. I work in downtown Peoria and this is my go to if I want a sandwich. Not the best sandwiches in the world (you may be able to tell I love a good sandwich), but in my opinion best sandwich shop downtown (and maybe best in Peoria).“

“There is an employee at krogers in Bartonville I wish I could steal and bring to my job. Her customer service skills are flawless ❤️ Edit post: Her name is Jessyka Searle. Some how my pickup order was missing a bunch of items. She spoke with me for a long time on the phone trying to figure out what happened. She then gave me her personal number so I can text her all my missing items, made appropriate substitutions (or offered credit towards next purchase but subs were fine). She apologized again and wanted to make things right. She was so sweet and so genuine!! I love great customer service!“

“This Kroger's is the best grocery store in Peoria. There are other good grocery stores and Peoria, however this Kroger's beats them all! Excellent source for fresh fruits and vegetables, a professional bakery, hot foods ready to eat, a wide selection of lunch meat and cheeses, a butcher shop with an expert staff, a Starbucks, and a full selection of alcoholic drinks. The store is clean, and well lit. Parking is ample. The only reason I don't give this Krogers 5 stars is because it's almost 6 miles from my house.“

1001 W Jackson St, Morton

“The Morton Kroger has been updated and is the cleanest and best stocked Kroger store in the Tazewell County area. They seem to generally have plenty of cashiers available and a fresh inviting produce section. There is a Starbucks right inside the store entrance. No deals there just the convenience of one stop shopping. A few observations: -They have a loyalty program where you register and trade your buying history for fuel points (rewards) toward the purchase of gas at the Kroger fuel station. In order to get the lowest advertised store price on Kroger merchandise you have to scan your card or provide your phone number. A strategy might be to use a common family phone number to more quickly build rewards. -Rather than BOGO their deal is Buy 5 Save 5. So on a frozen vegetable instead of paying the Kroger loyalty price of 2.29 you pay 1.29 each if you buy 5 in the same brand and category. Seems like a deal if they have sufficient stock when you are shopping. Wednesday is when the weekly store ad/specials drop so probably the best day to shop. -They have a 'Last Chance' section where they offer clearance prices on stickered merchandise. Aisle 8 when I was there. A quick scan and a check of expiration dates can net a bargain. -Kroger offers online digital coupons that you can clip after you download and register through their app. Check the app privacy details for the many ways Kroger can gather and sell your personal information including to third party advertisers.“
