“We jumped off the highway for a quick lunch while on vacation to northern Illinois. Found this place on Yelp. It was an easy stop off the highway. The owner recommended the tenderloin prepared fresh in house. They were even kind enough to serve it in separate baskets with an extra toasted bun. It was perfect. Pounded thin and served crispy with all the fixings. I also recommend the fresh haystack onion rings! Would definitely stop here again if in the area.“

“Overall, a really nice place. Food was brought out quickly and tasted great. Service was super friendly and prompt even though they were a bit busy. Prices were decent. They also have a solid tap list and offer tastes. I really liked the option for 5oz pours, as well. Is definitely a place I'd come back to and bring family.“

“We were looking for a somewhere to stop for lunch today and we went with this place. The atmosphere was great, not too many people since they had just opened for the day. Our waitress was very fun and kind, quickly took our order and was very helpful with the menu since it was our first time. We started with the sweet corn nuggets and got chipotle mayo on the side. They were delicious. Then, I got the Howdy burger with a side of fries and my boyfriend got the Howdy chicken with a side of onion rings. Everything was great, and they don't skimp on anything. We definitely got our money's worth. We'll definitely be back!“

“Clean, quick and food was good and family priced. Nicki is a one woman band.. cooks, serves and cleans up with a smile. Limited menu, mostly out of the freezer, no frills. Fresh ground burger & chicken strips...not overcooked nor greasy.Vegetarian options: Mostly fried veggies. ..not sure if they could make a cheese sandwich on bread.Dietary restrictions: Mostly fried sides.Parking: Lot is not huge but it's free.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar. I assume kids are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat dirt, gravel parking lot, bit uneven. There is a step up to the sidewalk and a step up into the building.“
