Went to El Guey for national margarita day. Pitcher of margarita was on point. 32 oz of deliciousness. Was able to mix flavors. Hat thr chicken fries. They were great. Service was a little slow but overall everything was great. Would reccomend this location.

My son was home for a visit recently and we wanted to eat somewhere we've never been. I'm so glad we picked El Maguey. We were greeted by friendly staff upon entering and quickly seated in a comfy booth. We were barely seated before we had a basket of warm tortilla chips and bowl of salsa brought to our table. My son ordered the Birria Tacos and I had the Mexican Taquitos to which I added a side of rice. Everything was delicious. Our server was friendly, attentive, and efficient. They also had a clean restroom which I think speak volumes for any business. I can't wait to go back-- highly recommend!

This was an amazing place, one of the best Mexican places I have been to. The starter chips and salsa were really good, delicious crispy chips not too salty or oily or anything, really nice. Good portion of salsa too, a big bowl of it. The horchata portion was also giant I was surprised when they brought out such wide, tall glasses filled to the brim!I ordered the chipotle mango chicken tacos- so so good. Perfectly cooked, nice balance of flavors, loved the cheese and avocado inside and the tacos had a spicy sweetness. It came with rice and beans. The rice was exquisite. Some places I have been to the rice is kind of mid, nothing special. This rice had the perfect texture and flavor I loved it! Some rice is too dry or too wet but this one was great. I am just in awe of how great this place was, I have no complaints. I would highly recommend coming here.

One of the best Mexican places to eat in E'Ville. Great service and great food, consistently consistent.Also, very impressing, I have been there at closing several times and have seen with my own eyes the effort the staff puts into cleaning the place. Allllllll tables are cleaned, alllll booths are pulled out so the floor can be swept and mopped. The entire store is cleaned by hand.Though there are several Mexican restaurants in the area, this place sits on the top 5 lists of Mexican places to visit.

Glizzies are top notch especially when you dip them in the refried beans and slurp the beans off of the glizzy! My friend loved the complimentary salsa drink they sat on the table with chips! He slurped it up too!
