My son was home for a visit recently and we wanted to eat somewhere we've never been. I'm so glad we picked El Maguey. We were greeted by friendly staff upon entering and quickly seated in a comfy booth. We were barely seated before we had a basket of warm tortilla chips and bowl of salsa brought to our table. This was an amazing place, one of the best Mexican places I have been to. The starter chips and salsa were really good, delicious crispy chips not too salty or oily or anything, really nice. Good portion of salsa too, a big bowl of it. The horchata portion was also giant I was surprised when they brought out such wide, tall glasses filled to the brim!I ordered the chipotle mango chicken tacos- so so good. Went to El Guey for national margarita day. Pitcher of margarita was on point. 32 oz of deliciousness. Was able to mix flavors. Hat thr chicken fries. They were great. Service was a little slow but overall everything was great. Would reccomend this location.
