“A wonderful establishment! The new cook, Mark, is definitely on the ball. The food was cooked made to order, accurately dressed, quality and quantity was two thumbs up. The atmosphere is quietly pleasant yet enough pep to get the spirits going. It is a good place to gather with friends and family or just a quiet evening out solo or with a significant other. This establishment is kid friendly, but most adults choose family time here during the day or dinner. The evenings are most enjoyable being in a non discriminate establishment with a variety of positive kind folks. The staff are extremely catering to each individual wants and they are very patient, respectful, and kind. The staff practice universal precautions in sanitation throughout the hours of their shift. This is a family friendly, stranger friendly, everybody friendly environment. What tops this place off is the most affordable prices from the alcoholic beverages to the appetizers and main dishes. I highly recommend this particular social restaurant to frequent. This is a place of safety and will help contribute to a well balanced quality of life!“
“In light of some information that was made clear, I decided this review needed rewrote. I originally wrote a 1-star review due to a misunderstanding with management that resulted in embarrassment and what we felt was unjust treatment. Since our visit last Thursday, I have heard back from the owner of the establishment, and because of her polite and courteous response, I’d like to focus my review on performance of product. Well, in this case, food taste!Eight ladies all dinned at 1 table, and not one person complained about their food selection. I personally had the fruity chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, and it was just sweet enough. I really enjoyed it. I also had the baked potato soup. It was very creamy and had a great flavor. The sweet tea could have been slightly sweeter for my taste, but when it comes to sweet tea, it’s a whole dessert for me, haha! The room is cute, and the place stayed busy. I’m sure many repeat customers dine here.“
“This place has been around for awhile but changed ownership a few times. It was formerly in the little plaza near Eagle's Nest Restaurant. It recently moved a little ways down the road and is in a newly renovated space. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The server was very friendly. But best of all - the donuts were very good! Some mom & pop donut shops cut corners by using food coloring in the frosting but don't add much flavor; real chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. That is not the case here. The chocolate, custard filled long john was delightful! The cake donut was thick and had substance and neither product was oily. (Yummy's Donut Place in Edwardsville should take a lesson from these guys!) Wish I lived closer - I'd be here more often!“
“Wow to say the least!! I think it might be one of the first times I was in and out and my order was perfect! The cashier Amber had the biggest smile and was so welcoming as I was walking through the door. Definitely will be coming back we need more employees in the area like herself!“
