I’m Not sure how this place doesn’t have a higher rating on google. We’ve Been coming here for over 10 years. One of the best places to get Mexican food. Tacos are awesome, huaraches are fantastic, burritos are bomb! Both the red and green salsa are incredible as well. The green salsa is avocado based which I prefer for green salsa.It’s not a place to take the family as their dine in is pretty small but to drop in for lunch or takeout you cannot go wrong!Thanks for the great food over the years!

This Taqueria is amazing! The Chicago metro area has amazing Mexican food in general. And Elgin crushes it in the Mexican cuisine department. There are at least a dozen great Taquerias in Elgin. This is not a fine dining experience. This is a place to get the best steak tacos in Elgin and the best steak tacos I have had anywhere. The place is a tiny Taqueria. It would qualify as a Dive in the world of Triple D. If you think these tacos are anything but great, you should probably rethink your ability to critique food. And maybe stick to reviewing something else like interior design.

I am a customer who always buys here and today, 10/22/23, they gave me very bad service. These two young women have really terrible service here. First of all, we ordered a guacamole with chips and what they served us was a little bit of galló passed through avocado. I ordered a They gave me beef broth without rice or tortillas. They had never given me that type of service, here they have to do something. my daughter and my wife are still waiting for their food

We ordered a 3 steak taco dinner, and a tostada dinner over the phone, i repeated, she repeated correctly what i said back, and then they gave us this instead 3 steak taco dinner, another 3 steak tacos, and a thing of nachos?.... Looks good, but not even our order. This was about 11:15am, nobody in the place just the cook, and lady, and still messed it up. Called to tell them, and still couldn't get her to understand she messed up, tried telling me it was right. Will not be back. Feels like someone else has taken over cause it's changed used to be a favorite place.

I ordered the steak gordita with everything and it was simply delicious. The salsa (orange color) lol is the one I always go for. Food is really good and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Place is a bit small so I don’t recommend dining in but I still suggest ordering for takeout instead. Would definitely have to come back and try other things on the menu.
