This Taqueria is amazing! The Chicago metro area has amazing Mexican food in general. And Elgin crushes it in the Mexican cuisine department. There are at least a dozen great Taquerias in Elgin. This is not a fine dining experience. This is a place to get the best steak tacos in Elgin and the best steak tacos I have had anywhere. The place is a tiny Taqueria. This is the best taqueria in the area. Great food and drinks, everything tasted homemade, the Caldo de pollo was amazing, and all the meats were tender, seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The portions were huge, and it was very affordable. Absolutely go here as much as you

I’m Not sure how this place doesn’t have a higher rating on google. We’ve Been coming here for over 10 years. One of the best places to get Mexican food. Tacos are awesome, huaraches are fantastic, burritos are bomb! Both the red and green salsa are incredible as well.
