My first time here. Food was 10/10 perfect. Cooked just right, very fresh and tasty. The environment and atmosphere were superb, hospitality, warm, and welcoming. The fish tank was well maintained and I enjoyed watching all the fish swim around. The portions were huge and everything was very high quality, especially the toast I noticed. I will certainly be back again as rhetorical lunch and dinner menu (also breakfast) are vast. The pricing is higher, but it’s well worth it and fine since the overall experience is what I’ve delved for. Wish I did receive more salsa for my skillet though. So happy I came here!! I loved every bit of the experience! We were very pleasantly greeted too, everyone was happy and eager to make us feel like valued customers! :)

Food came with a piece of hair in it, my boyfriend's steak was raw. The main server which was an elder lady was in such a rush while we were the only ones in the restaurant and kept looking at us to finish out food and chatting to an other server about me which made me uncomfortable.

Silver Dollars is a breakfast/lunch restaurant near Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Elwood, IL. They serve the standards - hamburgers, pancakes, eggs, etc. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. I had the apple walnut waffle. The topping was made from fresh apples opposed to canned pie filling. If you are at the cemetery and want a bite to eat Silver Dollars is a good option.

Had a late afternoon funeral luncheon for my father there after services at Abe Lincoln. They have it down, delicious family style in a separate room, perfect!

Stopped in tonight for dinner. The bathroom was grossly dirty. Boyfriend got the chop steak with mushroom, it was raw on the inside. I got the chicken friend steak the gravy tasted sour. Do not recommend

Overall enjoy the restaurant. The night we were there it seemed cold but we discovered later that they had a door open between their building and an adjacent building.
