Classic old school deli, recommended by a coworker. Quaint and classic. Service is a bit on the slower side but that fine because care and consideration are being take. I kept it simple and quick and ordered the Brie BLT and it was well portioned and tasty. Generous helping of Brie and the baguette it was on was delicious and rustic. Very tasty. Love supporting a small local business too. Very convenient to Northwestern's campus and the Foster CTA.
This place is the best sandwich shop in Evanston. Every time I visit Chicago, I try to make it to this place as it brings so many good memories, and the food has been consistently good for the past 16-17 years
