Good food, great prices, and excellent service. They ran out of the Italian Beef and offered to upgrade my order to a Philly Cheesesteak with extra meat for no extra cost. The cheesesteak and Cod sandwich were delicious. The wings had good flavor and needed a bit of salt, but the sauce that it came with was delicious. The fries were crispy and could have used extra salt. Portions were generous, and service was immaculate.
This place is cheap, but they make a lot of great food. When I say cheap, I mean cheap in today's economy. It seems like a hole in the wall.... but sometimes those holes in the wall are actually great. If you drive around it, you would not think anything about it because it looks like your normal establishment. They have a lot of ice cream, and when I say a Lotta ice cream I mean they actually have a lot of ice cream. Let me put it like this pretend you were going into a ice cream...read full review

Our family loves C & W the restaurant, the ice cream and the pantry. The food is yummy - love the cheesesteak in particular. The owners The Weavers are amazing people who give back a TREMENDOUS amount to the Evanston community like holding walk up food pantries on a regular basis for those in need. A wonderful business to support!
