I always have great experience from Deep purple locations in the city.This was my 1st and last visit in this Evanston location.Guy working there is just not nice and did horrible job making my acai bowls.He doesn't even let me use restroom there.I have a feeling that he doesn't want to work there at all.What an awful experience!

I got the açaí bowl. It was AMAZING! The purée's texture was creamy but still refreshing. The taste was amazing. You get to choose different toppings, and all the toppings were fresh and delicious. I got a 12 oz for $10 (not necessarily cheap), but it was worth it! The worker was very kind and welcoming. The setting is also super cute to sit and chat in.

The hours do not depict when the are open. It is December 27th at 5:15 and there hours say open from 8-9 pm and they locked the doors and closed. Absolutely ridiculous. This isnt the first time this has happened.

Acai bowl was pretty good, but I'd like to highlight the young man who prepared my order named Gio. He went out of his way to make sure my order was exactly as I requested being I am allergic to certain ingredients. He was working by himself at the time and a few people came in to pickup orders which were ready as soon they entered. Very efficient and did so with a smile. A great asset to Deep Purpl, keep up the awesome service Gio! ?
