“My wife and I visited Pepper Mill on February 1, 2024. Tye restaurant was clean and taken care of. We were immediately acknowledged after entering and seated within a couple minutes. I ordered the Turkey dinner which was recommended by friends. A couple and salad accompanied the meal and it was on special that evening. The soup I selected was cream of chicken rice. Tye flavor was good but I felt it needed to be thinned out. Salad was fresh and enjoyable. The Turkey dinner was thinly sliced from fresh Turkey breast. The meat was tasty and not dry. It was layered over stuffing that was lightly seasoned. I chose mashed potato's and steamed broccoli. The potatoes tasted like they were either from a box or a mix of boxed and fresh. The broccoli was fresh and cooked nice. The Turkey gravy was layered over the potato's and the Turkey. It was flavorful and seasoned nicely. My wife chose the Meatloaf and said it was good also. We both felt the price was reasonable and we would return. Our server was excellent and added to the experience.“
“I ordered the Baked macaroni and cheese on a Friday. The color was extremely orange unlike most macaroni and cheese. It was served on a very hot plate but the food was barely even warm. It feels like they heated the plate, not the actual food as advertised on their menu. The taste was mediocre at best. It could have possibly tasted better if it was actually baked. The cheese did not taste like real cheese but more like from a can. This is not a dish I would recommend unless they actually serve it as advertised on their menu. I also tasted the grilled cheese, French fries and cole slaw which was really good. The best part of my Southfork experience was the awesome waitress Debbie Rose Dinardo. This waitress went above and beyond with a smile and just great service from her. Southpark, Debbie Rose Dinardo is a gem. Keep her busy!!Thank you Debbie!“
“Great local establishment that serves good food at good prices. I feel like I'm striking a resonant tone with most of the restaurants in this area but my only complaint is that their parking situation is precarious at best when they are crowded. Sandwiched between an active train station and a Starbucks getting into this establishment is a breeze since it is accessible off of a main arterial road in New Lenox. However, leaving can be somewhat of an obstacle course with very little margin for error (and I consider myself a pretty fantastic driver). You and your family will not be disappointed and enjoy a visit regardless if it is sit down, carryout, or picking up for catering.Parking: As stated in my review the parking lot can be congested at times.“
“We were looking for Greek food, so it made us a bit nervous to find how little of the menu was Greek. We need not have worried. The meal was excellent! One sign that this cuisine is authentic is that they use the word "gyros" properly, as a singular! (The Greek plural is "gyroi".) My wife genuinely loved her gyros plate. In turn, I liked my souvlaki meal. The food was well seasoned. And the helpings were very generous. Boxes were required. It was obvious that the locals love this place. We will be back.“
“This place is so quaint. The food is good and service is always friendly and nice food was quick. Wish they had smaller portions for the days when I can't finish it all but they're doing the menu and kinda excited to see what they do. I will keep going back and if your in our quaint little town good place to stop in for the price. I don't think you will be displeased“
