“We stopped by happen chance last year on our way to Bishop Hill and drove out of our way to go back again this year. This stop was the highlight of our trip last year. The employees and owner are heart warming and absolutely made our day. I'm looking forward to returning in the morning.”

“Would 10/10 recommend CCT to anyone. We brought 5 kids in with 2 adults. Everyone was so accepting of our children playing, laughing and being kids. We didn’t have to worry about someone being mad at our kids like other places. The owner was super nice, even paid for our kids to play pinball! Food was super delicious as well! “There were only 2 workers and they were busy filling online and drive through orders so it did take a few minutes before they got to us even though we were the only people in line. They handled our order quickly after that and were friendly.”

“I grew up around Galesburg, eventually moved to Arizona. My husband and I return every year to visit family. We always come to P.L. Johnson’s Dining Room for lunch! The meals are delicious and the staff is very friendly.”

“This is a long overdue post from a Bishop Hill resident. Every baked good I’ve tried has been delicious. High quality ingredients make me keep going back for more. (It’s the real butter) The store is lovely with plenty of options for coffee, wine, home goods, and gifts for everyone on your list. Take the time to stop in and meet the owners, they’re amazing!”

“Hometown atmosphere in cool historic building with wooden floors. Darts, pool tables and jukebox. They have great pizza!!! And regular musical acts and karaoke make it fun! Great service. Lots of people have parties here. Definitely worth a stop! ✅🥰”

“We are from out of state visiting family and recommended this place to come eat. The menu had many delicious choices and I have to say it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! I loved the prohibition time period decor so much that I took many pictures because it has so much charm and history. Our waitress was sweet and accommodating and overall just a great experience.”

“Where is family oriented. Very friendly they usually have decent food in there just to bring in crowds and let me tell you their food so far that I've tried.... Definitely would suggest this to people when they need a break from work or school or home life itself. Great renaissance I might add...
