Hands down the best breakfast in the Central Illinois area and the service matches it. Sometimes there is a wait, but it’s because it’s that GOOD!! Worth the wait! I sometimes get carry out and it’s not a lot more than a gross, fast food meal. Treat yourself and your family to a delicious breakfast!
Delicious food. Glad we chose to try somewhere new and it did not disappoint. The omelettes are 10/10. So thick and fluffy and full of flavor. Can't wait to try more from their menu

We have a very picky eater. A few months ago she wanted to go out to eat and get French toast. With an internet search, I found the Buttermilk Cafe. Because she is usually a slow eater, I put her order in before the rest of us had made up our minds. She enjoyed her food so much, that she finished ALL of her food as we were getting ours. She's always asking to go back. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that a couple of weeks ago the baby had fallen asleep without eating breakfast....read full review
