“Recently celebrated a 70th birthday with the D'Alexander family. What a great event. The staff could not have been nicer, and attentive. You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy. If you want a great Italian dining experience please take the time to enjoy Made In Italy, because my wife and I plan to go back.”

“We love Five O Four. Their brunch is served from 8 AM until 3 PM and they do a fantastic job. The food quality is excellent. Our favorite meal is breakfast and they do it so well. We have yet to eat here for dinner, but the menu looks great. They’re open evenings from 5 to 8 or 10 weekends.”

“I have been coming here for years and would have recommended it until tonight. I walked in and was told that they are too busy to take my order!! WTF!?!? Isn't that a good problem to have? Suck it up, that is part of the business!! I have never in all my life been turned away from a restaurant for such a stupid reason. They didn't even know what I was going to order, which was only a gyro and only taken a couple minutes to make. Not very professional, nor a good way to treat a customer....”

“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!”

“Food and service fantastic. They were running behind with reservations but they comped us drinks an an appetizer...which is pretty unheard of these days. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.”

“We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday at Ko-ze with many of our friends and family, and had a blast. Anton was a great somalier and Isabella was an excellent bar tender. Our friends raved about the venue and the vibe was perfect for the evening. I would highly recommend Ko-ze for any type of party where you want to enjoy good wine and champagne. Ko-ze is also my wife and I go to date night spot for a drink and tasty apps.”

“We go to Glen Ellyn Buona regularly. Employees are very kind and friendly. I've never had a bad meal there and I've tried almost everything. I love the rewards app too. Some of my favorites there are arancini balls, chicken tenders and the chicken avocado protein bowl.”

“My husband and I recently discovered this gem!!! We don't live in Glen Ellyn and we started coming in July and have already been back 8 times! The fish is the freshest, the rolls/sashimi beyond delicious, the service and all the staff are always so nice and thoughtful. we can't wait to reserve their private seating floor room soon too. “Fun place to take kids. Food was good. Had a cheese burger and the kids had chicken fingers. Staff was friendly. Tip, bring quarters for the gumball machines. Special shoutout, the oldest (50-60's) on the jukebox made it for me.”

“I love this place. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet classy. The music selection paired well with the ambience. The booths are super comfortable with lighting that’s not harsh but is still bright enough to see what’s on your table. The service was amazing; our server was friendly, genuine, and accommodating. The thin crust pizza is delicious. The Salvador specialty pizza is unique and one of my faves. All of these details and more come together to make this an exceptional restaurant to dine in.”

“We had an event at Nobel House on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was great and the food was out of this world. We had about 40 people and many told me how much they liked the food , atmosphere and service. Thanks to everyone there for making it great.”

“Their bowls look amazing and I will need to go back to get one, but I grabbed a rodeo chicken wrap instead on this day. The person attending the cash register greeted me and was very friendly, so from the get-go the experience was great!

The wrap was very well made and very tasty! The bowls look very good with the fruit and or veggies, they have poke bowls and wraps. Both the hot and cold food options they have, are available in vegetarian as well for those who enjoy veggies!

The only downside to the location is that it is TINY! They have two small 4 seat tables, one larger 8 seat table, and some counter style seats along the wall. So, consider taking the meal to go.

“I stopped by the Glen Ellyn Metra train station for some coffee, and got a surprise. It was a real pleasure talking to Mary, who is not only selling great coffee and scones (more tasty and affordable than the chain stores), but working with other stakeholders in the space to keep the building clean while also maintaining a vegetable garden on the grounds surrounding the station. After talking with her, it's obvious to me that she is pursuing a labor of love, and she is a true inspiration. I can't think of a more pleasant way to board the train in the morning, or just hang out for a game of chess when things are quiet during the day. More towns should get creative like this and make these kinds of spaces more inspiring, rather than just a drab place to gather while in a rush to get somewhere else.”

“I started going to this restaurant a year ago after picking up orders for GrubHub. The food is amazing so fresh and delicious. The knowledge personable staff is friendly, professional and prompt unlike many restaurants I've discovered that their food does not require any additional sauce because it is cooked perfectly. The manager told me how their food was cooked but after tasting it I was convinced sauce is not needed on their food as it is cooked perfectly!! I don't know any other place that can say that which is why I returned to the restaurant weekly. Please visit them soon to find out just how perfectly fresh and delicious their food is!!”

“I’ve never had any issues here. I usually order through the app and pick up — orders always correct and on time. I dined in for ladies lunch last week — we got our food in a timely manner, the place was clean and staff was friendly. Ordinarily I would give this 4 stars but Becca has gone above and beyond with customer service so that 5th star is all her.”

“My family and I were visiting Chicago from out of town and really enjoyed the deep dish at this restaurant, it was delicious! (Although it was a bit pricier than we had expected.) As for the kid’s menu pizza, when we asked our son how he liked it, he said that it was good, although not quite as good as Costco. ? (We do really like the cheese at Costco.) Enjoy your meal here”

“I live a few blocks from this Starbucks, and have been a daily patron since it opened over twenty years, ago. Continously, great staff, and great coffee (cold brew). I've never bought any of their food or baked goods (not into prepackaged stuff). During the school year, it seems between the hours of 11a -2p, the place is often overrun by high-school students who are loud and rude. Nevertheless, I do my best to avoid the ill-mannered teens, as the staff and coffee are great.”

“I live in the city and happened to be in the mood for tacos when i was visiting this area. This restaurant had a high rating, and I thought I'd grab tacos here. This is the only Los Burritos Tapatios location I have visited, and I have only been here once. This place still offers chips and salsa when you sit down and they were delicious. Our server Sandra was very nice and attentive. I had the Steak taco platter. The steak was tender, and there was no gristle or fat. The meat, however, was somewhat bland, and the rice was also. My wife had the chicken taco platter and enjoyed it very much. We ordered the guacamole and a quesadilla for appetizers. The guacamole was wet, kinda soupy, and had a lot of tomatoes. We ate at lunchtime, and we had no problem getting a seat, but there was a steady stream of customers both eating in the restaurant and picking up takeout. This establishment is very reasonably priced, which is appreciated these days. I would probably eat here again.”
