“Shivers is an amazing local staple, I have never had a bad experience here. My personal favorite items are the Italian cream sodas, the cows (specifically root beer), and of course the concretes (I like vanilla with marshmallow fluff, banana, and sprinkles.)“

“I've been coming to Mister Donut for a long time now and have been more of a regular customer recently. Amazing donuts, plus other food items like breakfast sandwiches. Service is always great and everyone is very polite. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.“

The first time I ordered it, I ordered a small size, and it tasted absolutely perfect! The second time, (I really need more caffeine) I ordered the regular size which is probably about 12 ounces of liquid. They use two shots of espresso in the hot regular sized drink, but if you want it to be iced then you will only get one shot of espresso. Because there’s more espresso in the regular sized drink versus the small, some of the sweet, cinnamon roll taste has given way to the espresso…maybe I will have them add some extra flavoring next time and tweak it to my taste. It’s amazing, and their tasty apple cider doughnut is nice and soft and spongy.?“

“Just went in to get the steak egg and cheese bagel that has made its return (hopefully to stay) and had a special request to cook bagel light so it was soft, and oh my gosh it was so good! The customer service is always amazing! No attitude because of special request (from front to cook line) and very friendly. You have a AWESOME CREW! Thank you for the smiles! ?“

“Hidden gem of Alton, Illinois! Got an oat milk, mocha latte and blueberry streusel cake both of which I would rate 5 stars. Coffee was the perfect blend of sweet, creamy, and bitter; streusel cake was moist, great consistency and had big, beautiful blueberries that carried wonderful flavor! Great atmosphere plenty of places to take a rest. They have a very friendly and attentive staff. I'm not a big drinker but I think it's amazing they offer adult beverages to anyone who wants a bigger pick-me-up. We will be frequenting Maeva's to try all they have to offer!“

“Amazing service! I asked about outdoor seating and they opened the garage door and set up tables for us after it was too chilly for the seating this morning. Coffee was fantastic, muffin was delicious, and they were SO friendly!!! I cannot recommend it enough. What a great gem!“

“Visiting from out of town and stopped by to get coffee on a Saturday morning. Great location with curbside drive up option. Cool interior with beautiful vintage chandelier. Had the best coffee I think i’ve ever had. Hot Orange mocha coffee. Just delicious and my husband, who is pretty much an Americano or espresso guy agreed.“
