My wife and I like to be patrons of our local establishments, and the Legion has hosted some craft brew events in the past. It was unfortunate that the older lady bartending seemed bothered by us ordering a Kentucky Mule with Makers. Her demeanor was surprising. Wish she would've been friendlier. There is no music in the place that you can hear. Pool table is a plus. They seem to have karaoke but looked like equipment was just laying around. Needs a little bit TLC.

Went for pancake breakfast and was disappointed. Was all you could eat from 8am to 12pm . Got there at 8:45 and got 1 pancake 2 sausage 2 bacon and scrambled eggs. Wanted coffee, but they were out. Went up again at 9:10 . I was only able to get 1 pancake. I didn't want sausage, but they ran out of bacon for the event, so I took 2 sausage. Again, the coffee was empty, so I took milk. I don't think I will go back there for other events that they put on.

This has become a regular haunt for me during my work stay in Gurnee. We were welcome the first day we showed up, and are treated as regulars.The bartenders are fun and engaging, and you can't beat $2,50 domestics on Tuesdays!

Rental of the hall is very reasonably priced. The bar staff are super friendly and the regular patrons are great. Cost to drink is better than most bars.

Nice place to host an event for individuals who are not physically challenged.You would have to go up and down the stairs to get to the event. No ramps or elevators.
