I can't believe I've lived in this area and just got around to Gurnee Donuts. It's wild that one of the best donut shops has been right under my nose. From the outside, it's unassuming. A simple sign with a simple store front located in a strip. There is plenty of parking in the lot. been coming here since i was a kid. anytime i have anyone visiting from out of town i always make sure to take them here so they can have their minds blown by just how good these donuts are. HIGHLY recommend the fruity pebbles ube

We were staying in the area and looking for a breakfast spot. It is important to know that this place has a table or two, but not an eat in restaurant. We grabbed a half dozen of the freshest, fluffy doughnuts-ube, cream-filled, jelly-filled, chocolate and strawberry iced and a blueberry. We couldn't try them all, but we made a dent, taking it all back to our hotel to enjoy.
