Thlaco Taco Tijuanense is an excellent Mexican restaurant that offers an authentic Tijuana dining experience. The Avocado on the Tacos is great, and the Carne asada Tacos are the best in Chicago. The Al Pastor and Carne asada fries are also highly praised. While the Steak taco was unexpectedly spicy, the Birria and Agua fresca were fresh and delicious. The salsa is also a standout. Despite the small size, the restaurant delivers big flavors and friendly service. It's a hidden gem that's worth a visit, though the availability of a bathroom on-site may be limited.
