“What do you know? Another hidden gem in a place one wouldn't necessarily go and look. Back lot near business park in Harvard Illinois.

Cons: location but not really a con, just wouldn't know it was here if my husband hadn't worked up the street.

Pros: everything else. Friendly staff, clean, well set up, and the prices are super reasonable (during happy hour, at least). Like the liquor? Buy some to take home.

Plenty of seating at the bar, inside, and outside.

They have snacks available too.

Got a 4-star because they messed up on the bill. It was fixed but still... not busy enough for such mistakes.”

“The best Chinese food around! Friendly staff. They never make a mistake. However, I did on our last order - I forgot egg rolls! When I got home, egg rolls were in the bag. We're regulars, and they knew I made a mistake, so they added them. Egg rolls, Cashew Chicken, Schezuan Chicken or Beef, General Tso's Chicken - all are great! Best Chinese food anywhere.”

“If you find yourself in Harvard, be sure and stop by The Dozen Bakery, and get a loaf of "Grandma Bread." So yummy! Extra butter and eggs is the 'secret,' apparently - my wife and I finished a loaf in under a day, easily. Also the donuts are quite good, as are the muffins. Avoid the coffee. Not good. Also, why aren't a half dozen or a dozen donuts cheaper than 6x or 12x the price of one donut, respectively? If this would have been the case, I would have bought more. The business has been around since 1925, though, so they're doing something right!”

“Tonight we ordered a roast beef pizza and had a lot of special requests. Extra basil, olive oil, mozzarella cheese, sliced tomatoes, mushroom, and onion. The chef nailed it. The roast beef was excellent quality. Very tender and flavorful. We were so impressed. We’ve been having Rosati‘s pizzas for years, but tonight they nailed it. Shout out to the chef! Thank you!”

“I came on a weekend for a food. I got four piece basket and it was a crispy, freshly cooked and wonderful five out of five for food and I came in the front. The front dining area was extremely clean and hygienically maintained. the working Indian couple is really ambitious.”

Celiac and have eaten at multiple taco bells with success. Doritos supreme tacos sub the chicken instead of the beef.

The beef has gluten in it, but the chicken is a safe option.”

“Very good food. Salsa and both hot sauces were excellent. Very flavorful (not just hot). Pastor and steak tacos were great. Beans seem a little running but have excellent flavor and pair well with the thicker chips.

Dietary restrictions: Great for very sensitive celiacs. I have celiac disease and know within 20 min whether I will be sick or not. I am perfectly fine and was on a motorcycle.”
