I would really give a 3.5. My server under the circumstances did a really good job. The owners need to hire staff. The wait time was longer than an hour for a party of six. The security had to help with cleaning and serving.Food: shrimps and grits with Catfish was good. Chicken lacking in flavor and croquettes were undone ( I cooked once home).The place has potential but ownership has to figure out how to hire good staff.
I've been here a couple times. Yesterday, I ordered a pasta dish that came with one half slice of garlic toast. I remember thinking, where is the other half?After eating part of my meal and that half slice of toast, I asked for another slice. I could see the hesitation in waitstaff's body language as she stated she had to ask.She returned to tell me that the manager/owner said that I would have to pay for another slice of toast. First time trying this place, not bad. The Jerk Mac n’ Cheese is 100% out of this world, simply outstanding. Salmon croquettes were overcooked and the fried collard greens didn’t hit at all. Shrimp and grits were amazing. Superb customer service. They only had cheesecake for dessert. Would have preferred more options as far as desserts.Parking: Part of a strip mall, parking is free.
