First time trying this place, not bad. The Jerk Mac n’ Cheese is 100% out of this world, simply outstanding. Salmon croquettes were overcooked and the fried collard greens didn’t hit at all. Shrimp and grits were amazing. Superb customer service. They only had cheesecake for dessert. Would have preferred more options as far as desserts.Parking: Part of a strip mall, parking is free.

I would really give a 3.5. My server under the circumstances did a really good job. The owners need to hire staff. The wait time was longer than an hour for a party of six. The security had to help with cleaning and serving.Food: shrimps and grits with Catfish was good. Chicken lacking in flavor and croquettes were undone ( I cooked once home).The place has potential but ownership has to figure out how to hire good staff.

The host was nice and food was good however, they need to give the restaurant a deep cleaning. The floors are dirty, it was a pile of trash sitting in the middle of the floor. The table was sticky and the Condiments! I mean the food is really but I’m thinking if the dining area was that dirty I’ll hate to see the kitchen.
The food is good however I ordered on DoorDash so that I can pick up my food to go and when I arrived I only had one part of my order and had to wait for the other part of my food to be prepared and wasn’t even offered anything for the inconvenience. I understand mistakes do happen but I highly recommend offering something to drink when things like this happen or anything for time being wasted in order to maintain customers.

When I tell you I try my best to support black owned businesses I do, but the service here is terrible it was a table of 5 we waited literally almost 30 mins to get served. Took 25 mins to receive coffee got 1 waitress working the dining area and on top of that gratuity added so that’s why the servers really don’t care because at the end they paid. Food received 5 stars because that’s the only thing that’s good tbh
