Here's what you need to know: cool pop up concept from the well known Bellaru catering of Highland Park. My favorite thing on the menu was the fresh fried empanadas - just so great and melt in your mouth goodness. The Tequenos are absolutely outstanding too. This is a surprising pop up restaurant that serves very reasonably priced Venezuelan food. Everything we had was fresh and flavorful. We loved the Tequenos and the Cachapas (sweet corn pancakes) made with crispy pork we're excellent. We also enjoyed the Bellarepas with chicken and cheese. Amazing and unique experience that I was not expecting! When I made the reservation I didn’t realize it was a pop up restaurant located within an industrial warehouse kitchen, but it was a pleasant surprise. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, the tequeños and tres leches were to die for. Everything that we ordered from the menu was very savory, tasty, and pretty aunthentic!
