Haven’t been to Aurelio’s to know how great of a pizza they serve. I also appreciated walking into the architectural space. It had a nice, old school, vintage, and woodsy feel with the chandelier lighting and the street signs decorations, as you walk in to be seated. Customer service was great. The waitress was awesome and took care of my drink, when refills were needed. As far as food goes, I ordered a Medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and garlic. The protein toppings were cooked phenomenally. They blended well with the garlic and cheese, melting in your mouth. The sauce was excellent. It wasn’t too salty and sweet. Had the right amount of flavor to blend the toppings together. The crust was crunchy and cooked perfectly to hold the pizza together. I’d definitely would come back.

My pizza was good but my wings were over cooked and very small. Before ordering I told them nit to over cooked the but I sure they were sitting for hours they were very dry. Not worth the money I paid for. I will just order pizza.

This is the best pizza in Chicago even though it's in the south suburbs. Yes, it's definitely not Chicago but the pizza in the old oven. Oh my goodness! So good! They're selling somehow even though it's just iceberg. Lettuce is so good. There is nothing at this place that is bad. I don't know how they do it. I don't care to know how they do it. Don't care if they sold theirselves to the devil. This place is awesome and it is always packed. They have two parking lots and they are always packed. Highly recommend if you're ever in Chicago. Check them out there in Homewood Illinois Aurelio's Pizza one of the best in the city. Also, Chicago pizza is not deep dish and it's thin crust cut in squares. Let that be know

It's a classic Chicago style tavern. Always good.Try the Alfredo sauce instead.

Simply put, Aurelio's makes arguably one of the world's greatest thin crust pizzas.  This is a hotly debated topic around the US (and other parts of the world), so what makes Aurelio's pies so special?  It all starts with their sauce.  With just a slight hint of sweetness, this richly flavored sauce adds an incredible amount of flavor to every pie.  They are quite generous with the amount of sauce also, which avoids the cardinal sin made by so many others of the "dry pie".  For the hard core aficionado, you can even get extra sauce drizzled artfully on the top of the pie.  All of their ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality, but the flavor of the Italian sausage they use really stands out. They have an excellent selection of beers on draft, including some local standouts like Three Floyds and Goose Island.Aurelio's now has dozens of locations scattered around Chicagoland, but if you get the chance, it is worth a little extra driving to visit the original.  I make a point of visiting this location every time I visit Chicago.  The original flagship location of Aurelio's is exactly what you should picture in your mind's eye for a family-owned pizzeria.  A warm wood structure filled with the classic red and white tablecloths.  The building has grown over time to become a rather sprawling, meandering sort of place, but the odd shapes provide several different spaces for comfortable and excellent dining.

It's a great pizza. We ate at the one in Homewood. I believe it's the original. One large pizza was about 40 bucks. 7 toppings. So be prepared for that. Toppings are 2.75 apiece. But I would eat it again happily

This is my first stop flying in from Tuscon when I visit with family and friends. When ordering pizza, make sure you ask for the pizza to be cooked in the old oven. Huge difference. Yummy!!!
