“Food is good & Bar is unique.I usually order here every couple weeks. Majority of the food here is really good! I recommend the potato skins and nachos.I don’t really drink so I can’t say too much about the Bar itself, but the decor is honestly so adorable and awesome. Stuffed monkeys line the bar and tons of cool stuff to look at on the walls while you eat. Always a clean environment.Food is normally made quickly, and is delicious. Sometimes during lunchtime it can take a bit longer due to not a lot of people on staff. Take-Out is pretty quick, it gets busy here at night so expect a wait on food.Always comforting Bar food, and convenient for a small town.“
“We came across this place yesterday. Greeted by sweet Jake! Loved the drag strip (keep it around!!!) wii bowling and great bartender and drinks. Highly recommend and hope to come back. And maybe play some beach volleyball!!! Such a hidden gem in central Illinois“
“First time for me at Buford's Pub, my family had each been there before. My mom and I were greeted by a very friendly waitress and the bar dog. The bar was full, but she would get us a table as soon as she could. So we waited at the bar. We were still waiting for two others and not in a hurry. While waiting, we saw wonderful looking cheeseburgers going out to tables.It is a great bar with several tables and very friendly people. I and my mom ordered the breaded pork tenderloin- it was not only gigantic but delicious! My SIL ordered the half order of chicken nachos- it was huge! We were all surprised about the nachos. My brother ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it looked delicious.We sat and ate our lunch and had a great time!I will be back to try the cheeseburgers!“
“We have been to this restaurant twice. We were wanting to try their Irish food but they have been out of the shepards pie and bangers and mash both times we visited. Their fish and chips and garlic burger were very good though. They carry Smithwicks which was great too. Most places offer Guinness but not many offer Smithwicks as well.“
“Let’s just get to the point…. Blarney Stone has great drinks, AMAZING food and the staff is soooo friendly!!! If you ever find yourself in the Ivesdale area don’t hesitate to stop at this cool bar/restaurant! Also, check out the Irish beer and whiskey drinking teams! We love it here!!!!“
