The sushi & sashimi are fantastic, everything was mouthwatering from the fatty tuna to the sea urchin apps, and of course the rolls, we had some classic rolls, as well as signature ones with tuna and mango and softshell crab rolls. (and the kids loved the donkatsu, thankfully they haven't discovered sushi, yet!)“

“Our experience here has been phenomenal - this place was recommended to me by all my coworkers and we were passing by. We ordered the Gyoza, the Chicken Karage, the Tokyo Miso Cha Shu ramen, and a Hakkaido Cha Shu ramen. The Hakkaido broth was good but a little too rich for me, but the Tokyo Miso Broth is absolutely amazing - it's light enough without being bland, noodles were decent, the Cha Shu pork was really good, and all other small soup components (cabbage, corn, etc) added a lot of flavor and detail to each bite. Gyoza was not bad, Karage was amazing and juicy. Overall love the vibe of this place and how simple and straight forward everything was. Highly recommend, this may be my new favorite ramen shop in the Chicagoland area.“

“I came in to grab a quick lunch and was really impressed by the service, quality, and atmosphere. The lady in the front was super sweet, really attentive and patient. The sushi chef was obviously a skilled man by looking at his knife skills. The food tasted fresh. The fish in my sushi bibimbop was fresh, as well as the mango and salad. Ingredients look like it was maintained and stored to proper procedures. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi or poke. “Absolutely delicious Japanese food. You can order at the counter (they’ll bring it to you) or you can order on your phone and leave a tab open (and close out at the end). We got a meal set with shio mackerel and katsu with ponzu, udon, edamame, and a large katsu curry. Everything was delicious and authentic. The prices are great for the portions and quality. If this place were near us in the city, we’d be in trouble. #curryeveryday“

“Royce chocolate and cookies is located inside of mitsuwa along with several high end vendors and shops. Royce doesn't disappoint. Paris was extremely helpful and went over all of the offerings that Royce had. I ended up getting the variety pack because I couldn't make up mind. Great gifts for the adventurous tongue and even for someone with a sweet tooth. The have adorable pink gift bags to make it for a quick pick up. I absolutely recommend the fromage blanc chips, they are delicious and daring at the same time!“

“Excellent little dine-in place with great portions and picture-perfect plating. The Tonkotsu ramen was piping hot and generous with the serving, and the potato croquettes were perfect in just about every way. For the money, it's hard to do much better than this.The dine-in area is a bit spartan, but it does the job. They were playing some lovely City Pop music so the vibes were right. “First time here last week and last night (2/23/2024), we came back and dined with friends. There were 9 of us in the group. Food was delish! We had diff types of sushi, ramen, gyoza, edamame, and Taiyaki with vanilla ice cream for dessert. All were delish and brought to our table quickly. The place was clean and staff were efficient. We sat on the part of the restaurant where you sit on the floor while you eat. We enjoyed the authentic Japanese dining set-up. They have various Japanese beer and wine, and dessert options as well. Prices are slightly higher than other Japanese restaurants nearby (Ari Sushi in Des Plaines & Sushi Nikko in Arlington Heights) but we can deal with it because of the efficient service. I think this becoming one of our fave sushi places.“

“If you're near Libertyville craving some sushi or hibachi, this is the spot to visit. Their sushi rolls are delicious! You must try the Dragon Ferrari and OMG rolls. They won't disappoint you. They're full of flavor. It's probably my 4th time coming to this spot and they never disappoint. If you're feeling hibachi, try the stake and shirmp, it's also delicious!“

“Tokyo Bowl is one of Vernon Hills' hidden gems. It's tucked away in a strip mall off of Townline Road. Ever since I was a child, I've always asked my parents to take me here for a special lunch. Now, it's my go-to spot for sushi dates. Every dish on the menu is beautifully crafted and undeniably delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone who is a fan of Asian cuisine. If you're someone who doesn't like sushi, you should try the Korean cup-bop or the ramen instead. My favorite dishes are the mango ramen, rainbow roll, and beef cup-bop. I'd like to personally thank the business owner for being such a gentleman and providing the best possible service to all of his customers for the many, many years. You are appreciated!“

“Without a doubt this is the best Sushi Restaurant I have had the pleasure to dine in! My wife and I love sushi and we constantly look for sushi restaurants. Our To GO To place used to be Sushi Station in Rolling Meadows but Naomi sushi is just in a hole another level of taste and service! We have tried all the local restaurants such as Sushi Para, Chicago Sushi and Osaku Sushi but Naomi is just next level goodness. “I finally discovered this cosy restaurant which was on my list quite awhile. Everything we tried today was excellent. Miso soup and boiled edamame were just as good as expected. The highlight of my dinner was a sashimi plate! The quality of the medium fatty blue fin tuna and lean blue fin tuna was outstanding. Sake toro and escolar sashimi were mouthwatering. The charred flavor of my husband's squid and mushrooms was delightful. His skewers of chicken and beef were well prepared. His sushi selection of octopus, squid, egg and smoked salmon was fresh and well presented. We were really impressed by the very generous portions and the very fair pricing of the outstanding quality fish compared to the other Japanese restaurants. The sake selection is fantastic and reasonably priced as well. The service was attentive and efficient. We cannot wait to come back. I highly recommend!“

“Reservations require a minimum payment of $50 per person. Even for infants and babies, if you use a reserved seat for one person, you will need to commit to paying $50. In most cases, infants cannot eat meals that cost more than $50, so parents have to order extra food to cover the cost of the child. Therefore, if you have small children, it may be better to walk in instead of making a reservation.“

“Cute little ramen spot with the see thru kitchen style. The spicy red miso ramen was delicious but quite thick as advertised. The gyoza was also delicious. The gentleman working offered a free appetizer to my friends and I which was very kind. Downside is no restrooms. Will be back to try more & eventually check out the actual restaurant.“

“Tokio Sake is a special place for our family. When we dine in person, we always find the staff attentive and friendly. You can also watch the sushi chefs meticulously preparing the sushi. They are prompt when we place take out orders. Most important of all, the caliber of the sushi is outstanding. We are a family of 6 and we all rate Tokio Sake sushi as the best in the area. Some of our favorites are Spicy Tuna Crunch and Alaska Roll. If you're looking for a great dining experience, this is the place for you!“

“5 stars for the all you can eat. Especially the lunch all you can eat deal! So cheap for good food. Sushi isn’t top notch but why should it be when it’s $30 or less for all you can eat. It’s still very good food! Portion sizes are great. The fried chicken roll was surprisingly good. The rangoons are heavy on cream cheese and the orange chicken wasn’t the best but those are my only complaints. The mochi and sugar donuts are very good too! Same with the egg rolls. Can’t go wrong with really anything. Definitely a must every once and awhile! Staff is friendly and attentive.“

“Fuji Thai is the best restaurant in the area! I worked here for 4 years when I was younger and Ive been back as a customer every time I’m in town for the past 5 years. I can say from first hand experience, everything is clean and sanitary. The staff was always great to work with. For a first job, I couldn’t have asked for more.
