This is a gem, and I'm lucky to live near it. You don't find an ice cream shop like this in every town. Friendly staff, an excellent product, and a charming atmosphere. Bring your out of town guests for a treat, bring the kids on a hot day, or just get a little something for yourself - you won't regret it.
Homemade ice cream in LaGrange, the best around. It really is made here, so not technically made in a home. Tate's is a classic kind of ice cream shop. A good amount of flavors to choose from. The prices are pretty good for being independent. A cozy place for getting something cold. It's about $4 for a scoop. The stuff isn't like it's cheap but it's okay for the quality though.
