“IF you are looking for an undiscovered gem, your search is over! Located in a strip mall off algonquin rd and just west of Randall rd, this place has a great atmosphere, a clean and attractive dining area, and lest i forget, the food is terrific. We ordered off the lunch menu. My wife had the soup and salad and both were terrific. I sampled some of her homemade vegetable soup and wished i had ordered it. But .i was not disappointed when the largest hamburger i can remember arrived. Served on a fresh bun, it was the tastiest burger i have eaten in years. The fresh iced tea was the perfect complement to an outstanding lunch. If you are in the area, this should be your go-to restaurant. We don't live in the immediate area, but when we come to Costco, we know where we are having our lunch.“

“The BEST breakfast sandwiches. The SOFTEST bagels. It's like biting into a dream. Seriously I just told everyone to leave me alone while I eat it. So good. I get the sausage egg and cheese on a jalapeno cheddar bagel. No ripping the bread with your teeth like panera or anywhere else. It's the easiest bite of breakfast sandwich you'll take. Go get one. The jalapeños are spicy. Which for me is a plus. The green chilli bagel is delicious too and a little less spicy. Just yumm“

“Last night I went to Alfredo's Pizza in Lake In The Hills. I walked in and immediately noticed that they only have 2 tables now. They converted mostly all of the dining room into a gaming area. I walked up to the counter to order and over the wall I could see into the kitchen and I noticed an old rotating deck oven. This place has a really old Middleby Marshall rotating deck oven. I went with the Gold medal standard sausage pizza. That old oven cooked the pizza perfectly. The edges were crispy and flaky with a good flavor. Crust was very thin with a nice dusting of cornmeal. Even the center pieces held up well. The cheese had a good fresh taste and a nice pull to it. The sauce was a bit of a thicker sauce and on the sweet side. The sausage had just a hint of fennel, but still had a great flavor. The pizza was topped with oregano and other seasonings. Overall a really good pizza and I was pleasantly surprised by this place. If you're in the area stop by and get a pizza.“
“I'm at this location at least once a month.$5 Ready-to-go is what it's all about. Is it the best pizza in the world? No, but sometimes you need pizza quick and cheap and this is the best place for it.Since I'm in and out, my interactions with staff here have been short, but they seem to be nice and they seem to enjoy working together. The only reason it's 4-stars is because there is not a gluten-free option... yet. And that's a problem for the sensitivity in my family.I'll be back here soon! Great place for a budget friendly birthday catering meal.“

“First time at the Pizza Pushers, ordered takeout. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice clean cozy dining area. Ordered a sausage pizza and a Wild Hog. The pizza was delicious and could tell made with fresh, quality ingredients. For a guy that does Friday night date night every week in my opinion I got lots of good food for the price. I think next time I’ll eat there and enjoy a beer with my pizza.“

“What is wrong with me, I've haven't talked about Sal's? There are many things wrong with me, and that 4000 page book is for another time. The little pizza places are what I always look for. Sal's is a staple. Don't be fooled by it's location and exterior appearance, this workhorse is around the corner of a 7-eleven building. The appearance is small but internally, thanks to the hard workers doing their thing, they produce some great pizza. Their tavern style is classic, thin (but not cracker thin) crust has generous, tangy sauce, and hearty, fresh toppings. I like that the sausage isn't too salty like other places. Don't sleep on their wings, they are meaty and done right. Sal's is 100% pickup or delivery. They have other options for pizza, appetizers, hot sandwiches, pasta, ribs, salad, etc. Dave Portnoy recently put them on an extended map..beyond word of mouth from locals. I never expected him to show up near my neck of the woods, but if he was in search of a "real deal" or "go-to" tavern-style pizza, he made the right decision. Even without One Bite, Sal's was already award-winning. Be sure to use their coupons as they gladly accept them.“

“When I ordered the brunch burger, the person taking the order said that he had created that one. Recognizing the complexity of flavors within that burger, we had him continue to help, as he suggested the perfect side to pair with each burger. The entire meal was superb. We offer sincere compliments. My wife also enjoyed an excellent cocktail called a Mongolian“

“So soooooo good! Talk about pizza... the ingredients are fresh and plentiful, cheese just the right texture and amount, crust crispy and satisfying so much so that you can eat 2 (maybe 3 pieces ) and not feel STUFFED! Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is nostalgically comfortable. Our 11 month grandbaebae was happily acknowledged by all waitstaff though they were busily weaving thru the tables with their pizza pies and libations. They offered to take a picture of our group of 6 afterwards, as we were celebrating our son's birthday. On our return home, realizing an item wrapped in a napkin, was left behind and most likely tossed, I called and the owner (Jerry O.) offered to look thru the waste and by the time I returned to the restaurant, seeing him with a smile on his face, I knew he had found it !! That's going the extra mile... hurray to Uncle Jerry and his crew !!“

“Seated promptly for our reservation time. Quickly greeted by server, who was quite pleasant. She took drink orders while we reviewed menu. She returned with our drinks a few minutes late., and took our order for a pizza appetizer. That arrived in 10 minutes, hot and crispy, and flavorful. She gave us a while so we could enjoy our pizza before taking our main meal order. Eggplant parmigiana was huge and quite tasty. Chicken limone was two chicken breasts, linguine, a creamy sauce and full of capers and artichoke hearts. All delicious and we would definitely order again. We were not rushed to leave. Atmosphere was pleasant, although loud at times (but restaurant was busy. Overall, very nice experience and will definitely return since menu had a lot of choices.“
