“We moved to this area and the only pizza spot we knew was Rosatis. Not no more. Tried this pizza for the first time. It was honestly the best pizza I had in YEARS. The cheese, the sauce, the crunchiness of the crust. 10000/10 we got half pepperoni/ half jalapeño. My new favorite pizza spot! Plus the best part was how your pizza comes in, not a traditional pizza box instead old school pizza paper idk if that’s the right way to say it but amazing.”

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!”

“Went on a Saturday night. They had the piano player there. It was so loud u had to scream to talk and could hardly hear the others around you. Food was good. 14 dollars is kinda high for a personal size pizza. But it was good.”

“I am so glad they were able to reopen. Due to the passing of the previous owner last year, they closed their doors. My husband and I had just discovered them and was so excited to find a Chinese restaurant we truly enjoy. The very next day January 1st 2024, they announced their closure ( we get Chinese New Years Eve and we got it from here). THANK YOU for reopening and serving the surrounding community....I'm from Indiana. We love your food!”

“A childhood memory in Chicago! I brought my husband to experience Gayetys. The charm when we walked in and then the SMELL OF YUMMY CHOCOLATE was a Zen moment!!! We toured the counters then dived into purchases! We had no time for ice cream but we will be back. We did have a piece of chocolate each at home ohhhhh yum. I had the taffy apple for dessert it was like no other. This is a must to visit.”

They have a full bar, full dining area, a nice big deck, and they have slot machines. There is also daily events posted, if that your thing.
There is a wall to pay tribute to veterans and I love that being my day was a veteran. May he RIP.
This place is a hidden gem and will be my new spot!

“I was going there for a couple years on the first opened when I was a school bus driver. then after I left the school bus company and we moved out to part forest it wasn't close for me anymore. I tried one in Chicago heights. it was not nearly as good as this one's ice cream. it's fantastic friendly people. I loved it. I missed it. I went back today and it was still great. I always got pistachio and the chocolate abuelita together. great taste! great place”

“First of all, the staff at this particular location need a raise, Because they actually understand customer service. I went to Subway and had no clue what I wanted to eat, And yet the staff was patient with me did not rush me can allow me to customize my sandwich. The way I wanted to. They had the footlong cookie too, which I wanted to try however, After the cookie went into the oven, I was expecting it to have a crispy exterior like a cookie, but it did not, it felt almost like a footlong piece of cake. Which was the only bad thing about it...”

“Places for GOOD genuine southern or Cajun style cooking are becoming rarer around the Chicago area. Dixie Kitchen fits the bill, top to bottom. If I ever feel like Soul Food and cooking at home isn't the order of the day... This place is on my list of go toos.”
