“We had a great experience at Kindred- we enjoyed appetizers, entrees, dessert, and beer. The atmosphere was intimate and quiet so that we could hear each other. No clanging dishes or loud music, very pleasant. The food was very good and we all took leftovers home. I had the chicken bowl, my husband had the steak sandwich, and my mom had the pork sandwich. We had a chocolate crème brûlée for dessert…. Oo la la it was yummy! The overall experience was very good. My mom is going to bring her gourmet club, so you know it was good! 😊”

“Outside building looks may be bland, but the food inside is traditional Mexican awesomeness! Al Pastor tacos with cilantro/onion/pineapple was delish. Their specialty tacos (lamb/cheese) was the best. Self serve Salsa Bar with many flavor choices is truly unique. You will not regret giving Crazy Tortas a taste test for yourself!”

“I’ve been going to this bar for a few years now and from day one I was welcomed with open arms, I love all that bartenders that work there and the manager. I always have a great time with lots of laughs and memories to last a lifetime. Also shout out to the karaoke djs , they always make sure everyone has a good time, and if you stay long enough you might get a chance to hear the bartender sing a song or 2.”

“Clean and quaint. Dining area was full when we arrived. Great food- the eggrolls were some of best I've had. Orange chicken was crispy. Mongolian beef very tasty, but a bit too soft for me ( I prefer a bit of crisp to this dish). Shrimp fried rice was plentiful and very good. I didn't care for the crab rangoon (sweet) or scallion pancake ( chewy)...but I would definitely come back again and get LOTS of eggrolls!”

“We found this place when building a deck in the area and stepped in for the lunch. What can I say- Burger City makes the best burgers ! And this review is coming from the person , who’s digestive system doesn’t like fast food, but Burger City’s meals are truly exceptional and delicious. Recommending and returning for sure!”

“Inexpensive home cooked to order- delish biscuits and gravy says my husband, my eggs cooked just right (I like lightly basted - yolks runny whites hard), the off the bone ham, grilled and just so tasty, pancakes are a bit fall apart, but the home cooked taste is just right.. extra hot water for my tea before I asked... Great job! We’ll def be back!!!”

“Stop by here after a stroll at the Morton Arboretum on a hot day! It’s a self-service small casual place with good quality food. No tipping required is awesome 👍😄We ordered Tanaka Box that came with fresh big sashimi and nigiri, the spicy tuna roll had a real kick which I love. The Volcano roll is baked and is done well. Bibimbap was on point, too. I would stop by again next time we come to the arboretum.”

“Best Carne Asada I have had in years - quality meat; cooked to my specifications. Sides were fresh-tasting, not like many places that serve old, clumpy rice. Guacamole was excellent. Many unique menu offerings. Ambiance is warm and welcoming, clean, with owner present. Will return.”

“Ordered online and given a “ready by” time of 6:13pm. My son volunteered to pick it up and sat in their parking lot for over an hour. Finally ready for pick up at 7:14pm. Food is great, but they need to revamp their online system to accurately reflect when it will be ready!”

“I hit the drive thru so I can't give a justifiable score on the atmosphere, however, the food is fantastic. I have tried the ham, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel along with the sausage egg on an everything bagel. Both sandwiches were great. I've not been in the area for lunch/ dinner, however, the quality of the breakfast sandwiches makes me believe the lunch/ dinner options would be on par.”

“I have been here twice now, first time for drinks and apps and second time we threw a private event. This place is adorable, really cute vibes and welcoming atmosphere! Service is great we loved our party bartenders especially Jason who was on top of drinks and service all night during the party! We hosted about 40 people on a Friday night, did a buffet from their list of event menus. Food was great and I heard a lot of the guests complementing the food. The apps I had off of the regular menu were also really good! They have a great wine selection and other beer, seltzers and cocktails so there is something for everyone. Highly recommended for a night out, or private event!”

“I love my Starbucks in Lisle - but.... here’s a tip - Since we are in the middle of a pandemic and all - you might want to have your employees stop picking up cups so that their entire hand is covering the lid. Considering the spread of germs and all. (And almost every employee does it everywhere!).”
