Chef Tom and The Art of Good Eating were fantastic! We held my daughter’s birthday party here with 10 of her friends. Chef Tom offered a great brunch where he taught them to crack an egg with one hand, make maple glazed bacon, cooked the fluffiest waffles, learned some basic knife skills to cut fruit, and made hot chocolate. He was such fantastic teacher - super patient and very organized. We all loved the experience! Tom has been in the food services industry for 20+ years and it shows. He also caters and brings his own servicing staff, bar staff, etc.

We hired chef Tom for a formal sit down dinner for 15 in our home. This was an 80th birthday celebration with out of town family members. We agreed upon a menu, signed a contract, and I made a deposit. The day before the event I reached out to make sure everything was in order. I get an email back telling me he was not coming and that he was done shopping for the week. He stated that he called me two days prior to verify and go over menu and that I did not get back to him. He is correct. I never check my VM, my fatal error, but we had been emailing each other. I thought he would communicate there.Ive never written a bad review, but I am completely shocked at the utter disregard for his actions. If I signed a contract, we agreed on a menu and I put a deposit down, Im expecting you to show up. So I now had 15 people showing up to a sit down dinner with no chef. I’ve never been so disappointed and in complete shock!!!

Amazing event! We celebrated my sister’s 60th birthday with a fun brunch cooking class. The food was great & the lessons were fun & educational. Best of all, though, was Tom Moskos. He was such a great host & coach. We made French toast, sous vide eggs & bacon. We also made a salmon plate with potato latkes. For dessert, we finished with an apple bake over ice cream. Not only was the food great, the atmosphere & entertainment was the topper. All should partake.

We booked a tapas class with wine pairings through Chef Tom and had a blast. He guided us through many techniques in the prep and explained the history of the food we prepared before we enjoyed the meal. He answered many questions and is a warm and friendly person. Thank you Chef for making the day special and fun!

This place is super cute with lots of diner specials. The staff are kind and funny as well, it felt like I was in a small town. There's an array of country style foods to choose from. Simply the best!!

A friend recommended the Art of Good Eating and having had many parties in the past, I thought I would give them a try. Tom was incredible throughout the whole process and had wonderful food selection options that I may not have thought of. My guests were literally delighted with the quality of the food and presentation. The Art of Good Eating is a gem and I intend to use Tom and his team for future engagements. Thank you!

I wanted to do a surprise breakfast for my wife's birthday. Since I can't cook I figured I would hire a private chef. I emailed chef Tom the menu I wanted and date and time. He showed up cooked an AMAZING breakfast (some of the best bacon I ever had). He is the real deal.

Writing this review as soon as I sat in the car-it was that great of an experience with Chef Tom at my husband and i’s private cooking lesson. First off, the kitchen is beautiful and extremely clean and Chef Tom is so warm and welcoming. We cooked multiple dishes under his guidance and learned so much valuable information. It felt like hanging out with an old friend! We highly recommend his services to anyone and his food is to die for! We even got to take home lots of leftovers- We will certainly be back!

Customers also praised the restaurant's aesthetic appeal. On the menu, it's still open.
