The owner is one of the best people on the planet. She has gone from politics and her own day to day behind a desk work to putting all that behind her to do something she loves to do. When you have that opportunity how can you not be great. I should go there more, I do every time I am in the neighborhood, even if its just to get some cookies. Old world bakery just what you would expect.

I had gotten a chocolate cake. It was well decorated but the cake was super dry. There was also so little actual cake. 70% of the cake was just butter cream. Also. There were no layers… the cream layers were just randomly distributed. It was truly awful. Pretty from the outside tho…….but a cake should be yummy too.

I got the turtle tart and it didn't taste very good somebody told me it was under new ownership and they are now using fat free butter why you should be using good stuff this used to be my favorite bakery when the old owners owed it with this new owner and her changing the recipes the things don't teast the same and are not very good I missed the old owners I will not be back

The Sweet Spot Bakery made a smashcake for my son's first birthday, and what can I say.... they NAILED IT!!!!!! I spoke with Kelsey and told her we were having a baby safari animal theme, and she was so friendly and patient when helping me choose a great design. It not only looked incredible, but it had funfetti cake and sprinkles inside which were DELICIOUS! This was my first time purchasing from this bakery, and I am definitely going to buy more again!!! The best place for amazing, tasty treats!

After picking up my 65th birthday cake that we ordered last week I am quite disappointed in the workmanship that was done when we placed our order a week ago we showed them the picture of my wife's 60th birthday cake attached they also produced for us we are very happy with that I have it also in the pictures for comparison after picking up my 65th birthday cake today and bring it at home I was quite surprised to see how unprofessionally it was decorated it looks like it was done by a 5yo or someone that had no experience I believe the level of decoration would be surpassed by a Jewel or Myers cake I'm so disappointed with their workmanship and over $50+$$ they have lost any furture orders from us over such a special occasion considering it is my 65th so disappointed something has definitely changed with the quality of their work
I have given this place so many tries and have always been disappointed. To be clear this is what I’ve gotten in the past: cupcakes, cookies, the cake balls, mini pies, and the loaves. The cupcakes today were so dry despite the young girl at the front telling me they were made fresh. They were most definitely not baked today. Perhaps frosted today but as a pastry chef I can tell you those were not baked today. The cinnamon roll was tough and bland, not soft and fluffy at all with such minimum cinnamon filling. The frosting was the only good part of it. The recipes need a lot of reworking. Everything we bought this morning went in the trash. We don’t come often but I’ve probably been here a handful of times in the last 3-4 years. I always give places several chances before reviewing as I do think that 1 bad experience does not warrant a bad review. But bakeries need to take ownership of what they produce. I specifically asked what was baked fresh this morning and thats what I bought. Please rework your recipes, especially the cupcakes and cinnamon rolls. I’m sorry we will not be back.

Sweet Spot created the personal wedding cake of our dreams, and all of our mini sweets for our sweets table at our wedding! The flavors are incredible and we got so many compliments - highly recommend!
