“The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures of it. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The only downfall like most breakfast places in Rockford/Loves Park area is that they close at 2 p.m. They probably would have an excellent croud if they were open in the evening.“
“We have been getting pizza, sandwiches, pasta and salads from Napoli's for a long time. They have excellent food. Every once in a while something might taste different. So 95% of the time the food is great. They don't skimp on pizza toppings either.“

“Seen reviews on this place and I just had to check it out! We opted for a thin crust Hawaiian Pizza with xtra pineapple. Open up the box and it looked and smelled amazing. Took a bite and was met by a blast of sweet pineapple, tasty sauce, thin crispy crust and cheese. Have not been fond of Hawaiian pizza before but this pizza by this store is my new favorite! The owner was super nice and made sure to greet me before I left. Staff was courteous and promptly served me. I will DEFINITELY be back!!!“
“We hosted a birthday party at Sam’s recently, and it was a great experience! Gino, Joe and their staff were very easy to work with, accommodating and professional. The room was ready to go when we arrived for set up and Gino was very attentive through the duration of the party by checking on us, ensuring we had enough food and drinks, clearing plates, etc. If you are looking to host an event, we highly recommend doing it at Sam’s. Overall, great experience and the guests all agreed!“
“I revisited one of my old haunts from over 35 years ago and found the business is thriving. I strongly encourage you to make a reservation on a weekend. We were able to secure a spot in the bar. I started with a Bullet Old Fashion. The drink had muddled cherries and an orange slice topped off with a generous pour of bourbon. I order a Special Side Salad and a large A16 pizza. The salad was wonderful, the pizza just as I remembered. Again an excellent pie. We topped off the meal with a S'mores and Tiramisu gelato. Both really hit the spot. The bar and restaurant were at capacity and the service was very good. You won't be disappointed.“
“The building and the flooring aren't impressive, but the smell of those ovens when you walk in is enthralling. The service was really great, and the food was amazing. We had the Tuscan fries, the brucheta, a BBQ chicken pizza, a chicken bacon ranch pizza, a Margherita pizza, a loaded potato pizza, a salad, a creme brulee, 808 cheesecake, and a chocolate Gelato. We'll definitely be heading back again.“
“I was there really to pick up an Uber Eats order so I asked about the order (if it was ready). I noticed on the order they had a cherry cheesecake so I asked if I could also get one. I grabbed it and went on my way..This cheesecake was so much more than I expected... and I didn't know that was possible. It was so smooth and creamy and the taste was just so good, not full of sugar either. Just a clean, really great flavor of original cheesecake...... then there's the cherry sauce they put over the cheesecake. It's so delicious that it's unreal. By looking at it I was hoping there was enough on it to enjoy the whole piece, I was very unsure about this but to my suprise, it was enough to last the entire piece! And what a serving size it is! It's definitely not small! And all that greatness for under $7, HOW AMAZING! I will be telling everyone I know about this cheesecake!And also... the employees here are so nice and polite, a definite great place to do business with.I will update with a picture when I get the next one. “When my brother passed away unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago, we found ourselves scrambling to find a location able to accommodate the large number of people who wanted to help us honor and celebrate his life. Until one of his good friends told us, we had no idea that his favorite restaurant also had lovely banquet facilities. How perfect it turned out to be.On short notice, Sal and crew did a fabulous job helping us plan the event, and accommodating a large and grieving crowd coming together to remember my brother. We were in excellent and caring hands.And beyond all that -- The food was fantastic. I totally see why my brother loved the place :)“
