“As soon as I walked in it smelled just like my step moms kitchen so I knew it was going to be good. My husband and I are very picky on restaurants but we will be back 100 times over. The food was amazing. Both of us left with leftovers for tomorrow. The drinks were good and decently priced. I'm sad it has taken us this long to finally try but can't wait to go back. Hands down 1000% better than any chain like On the Boarder.”

“We drive from Beloit. They treat everyone like family here. There are a lot of old timers, but if you have kids, don't let that deter you from stopping here. Most of them actually enjoy seeing the little ones! The food is delicious and affordable!Kid-friendliness: Super friendly!”

“The place was busy, I also didn't realize it has two seating areas and an upstairs with pinball. The beer was tasty and refreshing. The fried pickles were bomb af. The oyster mushroom po'boy was good, not great but decent. Prices were on the high side for Impossible patties & vegetables. All.in all, it was good for vegan bar food. I would go back. As a footnote, the service was pretty bad. Multiple times we were brought food we didn't order (i.e. someone else's food) or already received. The food took a long time, but like I said, they were busy, which is good.”

“11/10 would recommend Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I ordered from them earlier today and while I was so excited for my food, my doordasher took it upon themselves to keep their food for themselves. However, I was connected to a a manger at the Machesney Park Location and she took it upon herself to give a full refund. It wasn’t her problem to handle, but she did any ways and I am so thankful. It’s nice to know that there are some people that will right wrongs they had no part in. I hope this store is blessed beyond belief.”

“Amazing restaurant, the workers were really nice, the food was good, and to top it off it was clean. Most chain restaurants are dirty and the food is mediocre. I was really surprised at how amazing this place was.Vegetarian options: They clearly tell you what is vegan and what is and what isn't, and if they don't say you can clearly look at the ingredients.”

“Love this diner for breakfast! They do the BEST Ribeye and Eggs breakfast and their coffee is awesome--the best I've had dining out. The servers are so kind and welcoming. Looking forward trying lunch sometime soon.”

“They have decent food. Always hot and fresh. Love the potato oles with hot sauce. The chicken potato griller is really good as well! Oh also the nachos hahaOnly con ide say is the price. I just recently went and paid 16 dollars for a taco, potato oles and a medium drink.”

“I ordered the good burger meal for my kid and asked the guy to do the thing and when we got to the window the young man did the thing. You know, “welcome to good burger, home of the good burger. Can I take your order?””

“This is our favorite place in town. A wonderful family place that has become our family. Great food great prices (remember their grocery costs have gone up like ours, and are in line with every smaller place). Their family is wonderful -salt of the earth people. They care for veterans and the community alike. They will cook your food however you want it. They had a long time customer pass away, and closed early one day to have a memorial service for him.Don’t miss the chance to eat here?I should revise my cost estimate. There are plenty of items < $10 We usually spend a bit more than that.”

“Recently had BeefaRoo cater a dinner for a large group of teachers and staff at our school. Brooke was amazing to work with and answered all our questions, super attentive and just overall very helpful! The food was great as always, teachers were very happy with their options. Love they have GF options! Delivery and providing all the plates, utensils was such great added bonus that added to the overall value. Thank you again, will definitely recommend!”

“I used to be a die hard subway dan, then I wanted a more homemade fresh tasting sub and I was off to find that shop. Visiting many small sub shops to big chain shops, then I was hooked on Jimmy John's for a while till I heard people brag about Jersey Mike's and saw commercials on social media so decides to stop in at my Local Jersey Mike's, the smell was awesome, people were friendly and place was clean, got the original italin with everything on it and man you can see the freshness and quality of the products, my first bite was truly amazing and brought me back to a time back in the late 80's to this small mom and pop sub shop by my house. I found my go to sub shop and I rate Jersey Mike's better than the sub shop currently in operation.”

“We got our food delivered. The man was really kind!!:) however the food was soggy and cold which was disappointing because my sick moon was really looking forward to eating a meal finally (after being sick for a week)”

“This was our first time in since the new owner took over last year. My kids both got hotdog meals. One with mac-n-cheese and one with the baked beans (their personal favorites). There wasn’t a bite left from either one! I decided on a 2 meat dinner with the beans and coleslaw. I got brisket to compare from my last visit. The flavor was as good as I remembered. I also decided to try the shredded chicken. Cooked great! Nice and juicy. Overall, I couldn’t find anything to complain about this visit. We’ll be back.”

“Curtis awesome man help our big table out on ufc events every month. Very respectful very recommended here. Buffalo wings here only place I know of Curtis makes sure we get taken care of. No disrespect to others in the area. But this man hard worker bust his butt make sure his customers are happy. And make sure they have great experience at his restaurant. “I've been to this location multiple times and it has always been a good experience. It's honestly my favorite location in the Rockford area. The food is always made right and the staff is friendly and pleasant. I can't say the same about the other locations in Rockford. Keep up the good work!”
