Well, me and my sis wanted to go to Chinese eating place...first choice was in Herrin, went there, CLOSED On Mondays! Then the Wok 'n' Roll is Renovating...sooo I Been wondering about "Asian Star" for awhile now....Been Leary of Trying it....BOYY! AM I GLAD WE DID!!! IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!! Do you remember those little quaint Chinese restaurants portrayed in every 80's sitcom? THIS IS THAT PLACE!! Classic Chinese American dishes and a few surprises. Family atmosphere and they remember you! When you want to pig out on Egg Foo Young, Fried Rice and Lo Mein, this is where you go.Kid-friendliness: They are everyone friendly!

I’ve tried Chinese food all over the country and this one location in Marion, Illinois takes the prize. The best Mongolian beef I have ever had, truly. The Szechuan chicken was perfect too. And the wonton soup, delicious. This place has the authentic Chinese taste we all crave. Seriously the most tender and scrumptious beef I have ever had my mouth is watering right now highly recommend sprint over here
