“McDonald’s are always so hit and miss. Not the one in Mascoutah. Fingers crossed, but I’ve never had a single mistake or issue with my order. Down the road at the Belleville location, an incorrect order was so frequent that I just started checking every item before even leaving the drive thru. I have no worries at this location.“
“Wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve had a burger this good! Ordered the special of the day “Bye Felicia” double patty with grilled onions and cheese but I don’t remember which type. Ordered the sweet potato tots and a soda. The meat was tasty and the restaurant’s mayo added a nice kick to my tots. I enjoyed every bite and couldn’t finish, so I took it home for later.Staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was clean, spacious and had plenty of tables/dining options.“
“I visited Shooters for the first time and was surprised by the amazing food. The portions are huge, so bring an appetite or order less. The waitress was great and saw to it that myself and my 17 friends were taken care of without ever messing up any orders! The whole group talked about the great-tasting food throughout the next day. The perfect balance of giving all that she could to provide the best experience without making it weird…She was like magic. She always appeared at exactly the moment when I needed help. And it wasn’t just me. She appeared when any one of her tables needed her. Not like routine but like MAGIC!?. It was quite strange but gratifying. I ordered mushrooms, potato soup, a steak with Gringo dip/waffle fries and 3 drinks: 1 champagne margarita (5 stars), 1 old fashioned (5 stars) and then yet another old fashioned because I couldn’t believe the perfection of the first and I just needed to test the accuracy…..(5 STARS)…. I’ll stop now. Let’s just say that I am grateful for the better than 5 ⭐️ treatment that I received from this restaurant even though it may not hold 5 ⭐️ status. “A locally home-grown joint that you won't find anywhere else. Love the penguin out front. We stopped in at lunch time and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Menu is very large so right away I knew that there must be a lot of frozen and pre-made foods but took a chance and was not disappointed. Wanting something light, we went for soup and chili, some fried pickles and soft drinks. They admitted the chili wasn't home-made but it was still very tasty as was the chicken noodle soup. Pickles were OK - maybe a little over-cooked. Lastly, the place is very neat and tidy! I'd definitely stop again next time I'm in the area.“

“Su and I stopped at the Five Guys just off of Green Mount Road for a quick bite on our way home from St. Louis. The food arrived exactly as we had requested it. LOTS of french fries that were hot from the fryer. We will stop again. Check them out, we think you will be pleased.“
“Great little local bar and restaurant. We came in for the Breese Optimist Fall Fest and stayed at a nearby farmhouse. The "Friday Fish Fry" and $2.50 beers brought us in. The fish was well breaded and light, but the homemade hush puppies were the star of the show: perfectly crisp with a soft, moist center that fell apart when biting into them but stayed together enough to cut them in half and butter them (in other words, basically perfect hush puppies). Jackie was such a friendly server (and cook, and dishwasher, and Jack-of-all-trades). Even though we had never been there before, she made us feel at home like we were eating at a family friend's house. In fact, we loved it there so much, we came back for (equally delicious) breakfast the next 2 days. Jackie makes an insanely good blackberry jelly! When we come back for next year's Optimist Fall Fest, we will undoubtedly be back!“

I was sitting at the bar, but myself, after a long day of work and was grabbing something to eat. This wasn't my first choice, but my usual place was transitioning and was closed. I knew he was one of the owners because the bartender was pointing out the owners to someone who had walked up to the bar and asked about an old owner who had left. First impression: (We're) not welcomed. (Our) business is not wanted. I'm just saying. ☹️?“
“Nice place with gorgeous views of the golf course/outside and spacious seating areas. Good food for decent prices, got the greasy but delicious Eagle Burger (with egg, bacon, and cheese) and steak fries. My companions also ordered the Southern Burger, quesadilla, and a BBQ sandwich and raved-about onion rings. Good place for a group to sit together and not have too long a wait (fast service).“

The vibrant bartender (Gina) asked what my name was and informed me that Brewers is a cash only establishment. No problem since there’s an ATM on site and I usually carry enough to cover dinner. I very much enjoyed the cod sandwich w/fries and will surely be returning soon to try more menu items. They have great buns and I’ve heard the burger is delicious. I’m glad I found such a cool local establishment.“

The drink area is spotless which is the only decent one in most of the fast food restaurants in O Fallon, Fairview Hts. and Belleville.“
