Their food is always delicious! My mother in law called her garlic shrimp dish "exceptional!" They always deliver it quickly. This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.
Some of the food was good and some not so good. What happened to this place? Food scores: Egg Roll gets a 1 Looks like one, no flavor, no internal structure. Crab Rangoon gets a 2 At least it hade the flavor, just not much filling. Steamed Dumplings gets a 3. Not sure what the paste looking substance was but it tasted like it should. The restaurant is pick up only and the front is run down and even a bit dingy in appearance but the prices are great and the food is REALLY good! When we moved to McHenry 10 years ago we had trouble finding Chinese food we liked. Finally friends suggested checking out China House.
