I was looking forward to my meal here based on the reviews for the gyro. For those that think this is the best they've had, I would say they need to get out a little further than Mchenry. This gyro was good, not great. The tzatziki.sauce wa lbs fair. It may have be homemade but failed on comparison to a place in libertyville and also one in Lake Zurich just to name a few that are not too far away. Alexes Vienna Beef and Kronos Gyros always has a nice friendly man take your order at the register and the french fries and the Gyros and Char broiled Hamburger is the best I have ever tasted in Mc Henry County Alex's thanks all you nice friendly men who work there I would highly recommend this place to stop at and eat lunch or dinner you will not be dissappointed and the food is fantastic and he gives the customer the best bang for his buck !

Very good inexpensive food. The service was great, the guy was extremely educated about his job and extremely honest. The ambiance of the restaurant was very classic and calm and there was nice music with a view of IL 120. During my order the guy accidentally clicked 2 Italian beefs and before giving the food he simple apologized and gave the money back for the extra sandwich. Very respectful.
