I absolutely love Big Rigs! From their food truck to their restaurant, their food is always so delicious. My go to is always a Quesadilla de Alpastor (tortilla hecha a mano). They’re a pretty decent size, I get full with just one ? definitely always recommend this place to people ?

Rarely post reviews, but this joint compelled me to express my genuine satisfaction. While some places go so far as to charge you for chips and salsa nowadays, not only do you get a basket of chips, but you also get a bowl of pickled veggies AND a sample size of their frijoles charros. The items we ordered consisted of a tostada de ceviche, a sope de rajas, a torta de milanesa, and an order of their french fries topped with nacho cheese and carne asada. Although the tostada was my favorite (so fresh tasting!) all the other items were just as delicious, each with their distinct flavors. Example, the torta included panela cheese (seared just right) and a special sauce that seemed to include Mexican mayo, ketchup and something savory I couldn’t pin point, but combined made for a unique and memorable bite.Considering there are several other Mexican restaurants within a block of this spot, this place stands out effortlessly.Well done!

I've come here a few times and the food is always excellent. The staff are always so kind and polite especially since I don't speak Spanish very well. I absolutely love the sopas you can't really order those at a Mexican restaurant unless it's actually AUTHENTIC. Absolutely highly recommend this establishment. Everything on the menu taste great. Try the steak sopas you won't be disappointed!

Tacos are very delicious and so are their hand made quesadillas. The steak, al pastor, and tongue tacos are really good. The horchata is also very tasty, it is the best from all the taco places on lake st.

Stopped in by chance just passing bcus my daughter wanted to purchase a water and this was the first place we saw after she requested water. Decided to order tacos and they were absolutely delicious. We had the carne asada and it was so flavorful. We ordered as a take out order but the presentation was very neat and colorful with garnishes of red pepper, lime and radish. Nice staff also.
