I’ve been following them on Facebook for a while before I had a chance to visit on a Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food, the cocktails and the live music. The place is a breath of fresh air for the area it’s located at. The decor is very nice, cozy and the place is not too big or overcrowded. You get to have some of the most delicious tequila cocktails I’ve ever had and even if you’re not used with Latino parties, you’ll fall in love with instantly.

I booked reservations from a third party app “tok”, which is the only way to reserve seating for la tequilerja. I prepaid $100 for the seats. La tequila never took it off my final bill. I fought it and they never gave me my money back. Stole $100 from me. I checked reviews under Facebook and google, other people have had the same issues

I just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago. And it’s perfect to hang out w friends, get some appetizers and enjoy live music. You’re free to dance if you feel like it. Also, Cocktails are Chef’s Kiss. 100% recommended!!!

I'm giving it a one star mainly for the "service." I cannot rate the food, since the older lady at the door would not let us in. My friend and I went there as a brief stop for a cocktail at the bar. We did not have a dinner reservation. The older lady with long black hair came to the door and quickly closed it behind her letting us know that we could not come in because we did not have a reservation. WE can clearly see that there were some open spots at the bar and explained to her we were only there for a drink, she was not having it and said we could not come in. My friend then asked if she knew of a place that was local (since we drove there from the northern suburbs) where we may be able to enjoy a cocktail, she said no. Did not make in past the glass door at the front and have ZERO intentions on ever going back.

Pésimo servicio y calidad de comida para el exceso de cobro. I was charged a $15.00 reservation fee as a walk in and sitting at the bar- not a table. Check your tab closely. I paid $286.00 for 2 people and 8 drinks!! Overcharged and when questioned- manager and staff were rude.and unprofessional.
