“Located along one of the main thoroughfares in town, it is relatively easy to find if you know what you are looking for. There is no sign at the road but a large one on the front of the building. It would be easier to look for the glossy yellow brick building. Parking is plentiful, although it can probably get crowded on weekends.Even though it's an old service station, they completed renovations which made for a cozy feel inside. They also have a patio behind the building. The bar is handmade as are the table tops. My bartender was Sarah, who was knowledgeable and friendly.They have a good selection of house-made beers as well as the option for mixed drinks.This is a nice laid-back place to hang out and enjoy a few beers with friends.“

“Great neighborhood deli. The food was delicious and the employees very friendly and happy to help you. They know their sandwiches and can answer any question you may have. We sat outside and it was a little windy but beautiful out. Someone even comes out to check on everyone too.“

“I don't need to say much for this place. I've been here a few times and it is always consistently very good. It's my #1 place to recommend for creative and quality roasts to try. This was my first time trying their espresso, and it is equally good in its own way. I may be ordering it again. Also got a 4pack of cold brew to go and added chocolate milk at home, I like 30% milk to 70% cold brew ratio.“

“We got the breakfast burrito, the mushroom and spinach hash and a refill coffee. The coffee my wife said was delicious. The hash was ordered without pesto but it came with pesto, so we got to try both, I preferred it without, she preferred it with. If you love pesto get it, otherwise if you want to taste the other ingredients order without the pesto. The breakfast burrito was ok but nothing special, the vegan chili seems more like a chipotle sauce then a chili.“

Stuart, the owner, answered all my questions and met with us several times before the big day to discuss our needs. This is a small business, so you will not get an entire waitstaff or suit-and-tie aesthetics (hopefully, you already knew that). You do get real people who listen, support a small business, don't break the bank, and get to have a unique, beautiful, earthy, and urban wedding venue. “Amazing people, a spectacular Benton Park gem for those located nearby. No fake fancery or pompous attitude, just some awesome people, both bartenders and customers. Also- you can BYO food. And there is a Rallys a block away. So, in essence, they serve rally’s. If that’s your thing.“

“Let me just preface this by saying I moved here from South Texas and have spent more than my fair share of time in Old Mexico. In years of searching for REAL Mexican food in St Louis, I’ve had many disappointments. This place was absolutely fantastic and pure pleasure for an old Texan. It even made me shhh my wife because I wasn’t willing to remove my focus from the delicacy I was partaking in. Can’t recommend this place enough and haven’t been able to stop telling others about it. I’ll be a permanent fixture there for sure.“

“My kid had a dental surgery next door, so we came here to pass the time. I'm usually skeptical of fake meats, but the match chorizo hash (vegan) was calling my name -- so I went for it. Really delicious. Filling. And surprisingly meaty tasting! My only regret was not getting a drink. It was the wrong time of day. But, hopefully I can get back here to try a specialty drink, or at least the coffee.“

“This is THE go to place in Waterloo! The variety of beer is excellent! I’ve tried most and every single one is delicious. The staff is very attentive and nice. The pizza is fire wood and quite a variety or flavors you wouldn’t expect but all are very good in their own way. The atmosphere is amazing! You will LOVE this place! Only 30 minutes from St. Louis but so worth the drive.“

“Sunset overlook is super laid back! The view of the horizon is beautiful. In my opinion the food was PERFECT! My wife and I had pretzels with beer cheese and the popcorn chicken; perfect taste, texture, portion (maybe could have been a little more generous ?) and color. There was a wonderful selection of drinks. This was all under $50 and super easy to get to!“

“Really enjoyed this place. It is likely a popular lunch place for workers at the brewery nearby. This is a true deli with great sandwiches. The Italian was toasted and perfect. The honey mustard chicken was made with a Dijon mustard which was surprising and not as sweet but good. They homemade fries were fried well with a really nice seasoning mix. And sandwiches were on REAL FRENCH BREAD. We were expecting a hoagie or something else but no. This is the farthest I've traveled from home to find real French bread (I'll forgive the sesame seeds). If I'm ever back in St. Louis, I'll be back.“

“The funnel cake is fried too hard! It should be crispy but still have a somewhat soft texture to it throughout in my opinion. I love the fried pork tenderloin sandwich. My only complaint is with the condiments added the bottom bun/bread becomes soaking wet, unfortunately. The last time I went I received lettuce that had started to turn brown which was not okay to me. More attention to quality control.“
