“Ordered turkey white bean chili, bbq sand on brioche (both daily specials), rosemary jalapeño fries, breakfast burrito to share. I sampled all and absolutely delish! Each item tasted extraordinary. I love this place because everything I order is made with carefully crafted flavors and texture—down to the salsa served on the side of burrito. It was homemade and fresh—not jarred. Burrito stuffed with eggs, chorizo, bacon, and more—ordered mine without potato. Smoky, not too spicy—YUM! BBQ was tender and tasty but chunky and not stringy—how delightful! Fries are always great and I must order every time I go. Chili had nice chunks of succulent turkey—you could see and taste the turkey. This place never disappoints and gets better every time I go.“

“Simply the best Gyro I’ve ever had. We live about 30 minutes away now but anytime the family can get to a Fairview Heights, not on Sunday, we go to a Lilly’s without question. Homemade and fresh is the best way to describe the lunch special. Always piping hot and messy in the best way. The owners are always there and are the sweetest! They take so much pride in keeping the quality top notch and the service incredible. Don’t let the appearance of this one time Taco Bell fool you. You will not be disappointed!!“

“Last night was my first time @ The Corner Grill and Chill. I had a Double Cheese Burger and a side of Onion Rings. I absolutely loved it!!! It was fantastic. and I have eaten alot of take out /Bar food etc. Believe me this was again FANTASTIC! The service was Spot On, Fast, Friendly and Accurate. I strongly recommend it. I know I will definitely be back!!“

“Went to the Tap Haus for the first time yesterday with my wife. They have really cleaned this place up from previous iterations of this restaurant/bar I had visited.I had the Bacon burger with pub cheese and jalapeños. I forgot the name of it. But it was excellent. The 1/2 pound burger was perfect temperature and very juicy. The Fries were cooked crunchy without being burnt. the way I like them.The burger paired wonderfully with a leinenkugel shandy draft. I really enjoy these on hot summer days and oddly with burgers.We enjoyed the pretzel sticks as well. The cheese made this app. It was delicious. I had to fight my wife for these.The onion rings were ok. They would be better served cut in half width wise and have more pieces. As they were the rings were too big to fit in the cup. They tasted great, they were awkward to eat.I would remiss to not mention the pleasing service of Stacy as the mixologist. She was attentive without being overbearing. Additionally we were out the door, well fed in time for our movie!I want to try out the bingo nights and the trivia nights at a future visit. All together this is a great addition to Belleville!!“

“I live a few minutes from here, so I wanted to check this place out. Great service. Notified me that the wait time for my meal would take a while to prepare, which I’m fine with. The place is nice. They have a dine in and a take-out option. I ordered the smoked tofu platter. It came with a free bag of popcorn. The food is great. My favorite is the hush puppies. Will come back again.“

“There is a lot of turmoil that can been seen with the owner, wait staff, and manager. Rumor has it, it will be changing names when the owners divorce is final. However, don't let that take take away from your experience. As always it was a wonderful steak Fondue. I get it everytime.“

“It is a small busy cafe with good service. I enjoyed my hot green tea with honey as they put the honey in my tea before bringing it out. It was the right sweetness to the green tea. There was only one issue I had. My piece of quiche actually had raw dough in the center of the bottom crust. It was not in the center of the full quiche, just the center of my slice of quiche. Everything else was nice, including the sayings on the wall.“

“This eatery was referred to me by a friend. I was really hungry so we went there to get something good to eat. I tried the gyro combination plate. It was ok, there was nothing special about it. The sauce on the gyro didn't have any taste. The fries were pretty good. I was told by the attendant that this was one of their best items on the menu. I've had several gyros before and this one was not in the top 3.“

“Big shout out to Grand Marais Lighthouse restaurant owner, cook, and hostesses on yesterday (January 14) for opening their doors to accommodate my sister, Georgette's birthday dinner. Were they was going to close because of weather, staffing and shortage of food due to a big party the night before they opened their doors for us. Food was delicious with only 1 cook, service was exceptional with only 2 hostesses and they got all our orders correct in a timely matter. I thank you for your hospitality and everything you did to make our eating experience great. Can't wait to get Soul Food Sunday back because my church, North End M.B.Church, 463 N. 88th Street, E. “Really enjoyed this place. It is likely a popular lunch place for workers at the brewery nearby. This is a true deli with great sandwiches. The Italian was toasted and perfect. The honey mustard chicken was made with a Dijon mustard which was surprising and not as sweet but good. They homemade fries were fried well with a really nice seasoning mix. And sandwiches were on REAL FRENCH BREAD. We were expecting a hoagie or something else but no. This is the farthest I've traveled from home to find real French bread (I'll forgive the sesame seeds). If I'm ever back in St. Louis, I'll be back.“

“This local pub draws a lot of regulars as well as the occasional visitor like me. They have daily food specials. Corned beef with all usual was featured the day of our visit since it was St Pats Day!! Sunday they feature their fried chicken (always on the menu but a reduced price on Sunday). We had 7 of us and 2 ordered the chicken. It is good! My selection was the chicken pot pie. It had an even mixture of veggies and chicken- big pieces of chicken too. The crust is only on the top and a bit thinner than what I typically see but still it was pretty good. I was curious about the fried bologna sandwich so I ordered one to cut up as an appetizer for the table. It was yummy of course. Horrible for you but yummy. Portions here tend toward the larger side. Our service was fair- waitress was friendly but very forgetful. Bar staff is also outgoing and happy to help. They have a good beer selection, full bar of spirits but limited wine options. But at least they have wine!“

“I don't know why we don't eat here more often. Everything was perfect. I filled up a bit too much on the appetizer and beer, so I ended up bringing half my dinner home. I just ate it all up and it was as delicious today as it was when it was served. Best swordfish I think I've ever eaten. I could eat beets with feta every day, and the garlic whipped potatoes - yum! The only problem is that it is all gone....Service and atmosphere was really nice, too. :)“

“We had lunch after church on a Sunday and had the fried chicken dinner. It was good (this is a recipe they have had for a long time). It came with chicken, fried green beans, "dirty" mashed potatoes, and corn type dish. We did get the bacon jam bruschetta (which was fabulous) as well as the mac and cheese (I was not the biggest fan). We opted to share a dessert with coffee (their coffee was outstanding as well). “After driving by this place for 20+ years finally we went to a birthday party for our son. Kinda what I expected of a sports bar. Large place with something for everyone.From what I could see they're heavy on darts and indoor golf. TV monitors everywhere and of course betting with slots.Only drawback was the smell in the men's bathroom NASTY BAD.It could have been a dried out floor drains but it was bad the entire night. We just had appetizers so I can't really judge the food.“

“I love Geos! I get a sampler boneless and try different flavors always enjoyed. They have quite a variety. My only complaint is it's hard to find a correct menu online, and sometimes their menu in person isn't updated. Like a sandwich they no longer carry.“
