“Been here few times. The food has always been very good. The servers are good and owner is on site worker right along side them. If there on Friday or Saturday night get the Prime Rib but rest of menu has lots to offer and has all been good. Great salad bar as well.”

“What's not to love about a hibachi grill? Staff provides a great family atmosphere. They're very friendly and gracious for your business. You get large portions. Most of the food is awesome. I say most because I haven't tried it all. There are so many options, and the best part is that this place is kid friendly. However, they create a show with fire, and you can feel the heat. If you're sensitive, you may want to avoid it. Now, the bad. The restaurant is in desperate need of renovations or upgrades. It looks a bit rundown in some areas, including the entrance. It's pretty much laid out like it was as a Chinese restaurant when I was a kid 30 years ago. The sake is ok, tastes a little watered down. There's a lot to love here, but first impressions go a long way. Keep going in, you'll find the diamond in the rough around the hibachi grills.

“We love going to Bass Street for special occasions. I always get the surf and turf, and the steak is so tender you can cut it with a fork! It melts in your mouth! I also recently tried their french onion soup and it was the best I’ve ever had. We truly believe they have some of the best steaks in the QC. Their side options(served family style) are all delicious as well. We enjoy their special for half priced bottles of wine on Thursdays and Fridays. Phenomenal food and service. Highly recommend!”

“We had Will from Hy-Vee in Moline (Avenue of the Cities) cater our wedding food. Will is very knowledgeable of the policies, options, and how to cater large events, yet he was still able to make us feel like we were his only customer. We did a food tasting and he was great with feedback and helped us come up with food options that worked for us. As we got closer to the wedding, it was easy to work on timing, planning, and payment with him. The food was great! The service was great! We even had guests complimenting on the food options and the staff that were catering that day. They were very personable and treated all guests as people, not just numbers. We would recommend reaching out to Will for catering from Hy-Vee for your catering needs!”

“This Whitey is literally the best location and it’s even better because they have a drive-through. The people working the counter are running their tails off trying to make sure that everyone is taken care of even on a night like tonight when it is cold and like 20° out, they still had a super long drive-through line and people waiting inside. The Customer Service is unmatched and honestly when we visit it feels like you are first priority and top priority there. We ended up getting the strawberry malt and it is a huge win in our books, especially with the malt flavor and the huge strawberries inside. We were visiting home and whenever we do, we always go to Whiteys as there’s never better ice cream than this. It truly is the best in the Midwest.

We were just a couple blocks away, our food was ready in less than 10 minutes, and the girl who took the order was very sweet and polite. I had them at Mercado before but had never been to the restaurant and I cannot wait to go back. We got the burrito & gorditas and the owner graciously allowed us to take a sample of their amazing quesabirria tacos!!”

Server Julian did a great job in providing hreat service!! I was in outside sales all of my life and have eaten at many restaurants. .This restaurant overall I feel you should give a try if you haven't been here.

“We were seated very quickly and the waitress came out in about 5 minutes, took our drink order, brought it in about 10 but NEVER seen her again. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we asked for a new server. They moved us to a new server and he was fantastic (wish I could remember his name). The sad part is the waitress didn’t have many tables and just kept disappearing. Anyways, she lost out on a $65 dollar tip. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was horrible!!! And he eats anything! River House has gone downhill since we were last there about year and half ago. No wonder they weren’t that busy last night and we got seated immediately”

In the warmer months there is outdoor seating to catch a few rays and sun vitamins. Vibrant celebrates the Quad Cities and supports the local schools. Check out their gift shop. This is an independent business and is worth YOUR support.”

“I am a long time customer. My wife and I went every Wednesday and Saturday as long as she lived. Now I go 4-5 times a week. Tonight I had Hailey as my bartender (I usually sit at the bar) and she never disappoints. She is a very hard worker, and always attentive to customers needs. Super friendly. chatting as she works. I always drink cabernet, and my first one shows up as soon as I sit, from whoever sees me sit. There are so many wonderful people working there, I could throw names for a half hour. Another perk of Applebee's bar is the customers. I have many Apple buddies just from meeting people at the bar. It is a social center.”
