La Rancherita 2 is a great choice for Mexican food in the Quad Cities. Their menu is a good mix of authentic Mexican dishes and standard Mexican-American fare. La Rancharita 2 is the exception to the old saying.... "nothing is as good as the original". Rancharita 2 takes all the favorites from the original restaurant, plus the traditional friendly service, and applies it to a great location on the Moline Hilltop. In addition to the tasty entrees and famous pico de gallo, they have a nice little bar to provide drinks that pair great with Mexican dishes. I've never had a meal that was bad. The downside is that at night, this restaurant is poorly lit. During the day, it has a wonderful natural light from the large windows. There are also booth seats where the leather is splitting open, and it seems icky to me. Food normally runs about $20- $25 per person (with an alcoholic beverage). I go here frequently!
