“When I look for a while in the wall, this is the kind of place I picture. The booths are from an old Dairy Queen and there are Christmas decorations on the wall. The plane was clean but it felt like a 1980 DQ with a new sign.I was very skeptical when walking in and there was nobody dining in. True this was an early lunch but they serve breakfast ?The menu is 5x7 framed pics of the dishes. I was not having a good feeling at that point. But ... Trust the reviews I tell myself ? I ordered the Philly and water and my wife had fish tacos. The water was in bottles, warm. I asked for ice and they looked at me like they didn't know how to fill that request. So far, not too happy with my choice.And then came the food. OMG The Philly was amazing. It's not your traditional Philly, it tasted like skirt steak with shredded cheese melted on top. The steak was cooked perfectly. My wife's fish chicken tacos were amazing too. Now I'm happy that we stuck it out ? I think I can get past some of the negatives that I felt at the beginning because it's worth it for the food.Fyi they will charge you for using a credit card and there is no fountain machine for pop.I'm not in the area much but will probably try it again when I am.“

“This great restaurant has served under many names and owners. The current owner circles back to when it was Plainfield Delight. If you liked it then, you'll love it now. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. It has a very nice atmosphere and a warm, friendly staff. It's definitely a great choice for breakfast and lunch!“

“First time here. They have a lot to choose from. They close at 2:00 pm everyday except Friday, Saturday and Sunday open until 4:00 pm. I do not drink but looks to have a full service bar. “Beautiful little spot! The food was INCREDIBLE! I unfortunately can't remember our waitress' name, but she was a sweetheart and very much aware of her tables. We never felt like we were sitting waiting to be tended to, she was always sure to be around to help us and her tables. The glass mugs, I fell in love with! The decor was absolutely beautiful! My one concern was the ants that were constantly crawling on the wall beside our booth and our table. We didn't want to make a scene and we absolutely would love to go back, but we are nervous about the ants. I'm not sure if anyone else experienced this or what was going on, but that is my only hesitancy. I hope this can be looked into. We'd love to go back!“

“Was very surprised, hard to find something similar to what you make at home. Chilaquiles are authentically made. Will be returning. Pankakes taste like was made from scratch, not store box bought. Waitress did a good job checking on is during our meal“
