Went for Easter brunch yesterday and I feel like we were scammed. The prime rib was good but the waffles were frozen Eggo waffles and the desserts looked like they were bought from Sam's club. $190 for 5 people for Eggo frozen waffles and mediocre food is outrageous!! My first time there and my last.

I was just driving through Morris, Illinois, and happened upon this gem!Delicious! I had the chicken piccata. It came with a French onion soup that was just perfect! Baked to perfection and TONS of melted mozzarella.The capers and lemon zestiness was exquisite in the chicken piccata.Ask Madison! She is a super friendly waitress and was awesome!Dietary restrictions: Lots of options!

I’m grew up in Joliet, but I now live in Denver. As fate would have it, I met and started talking to this beautiful girl from Romeoville. I flew back here in March of 2024 to meet her for the first time and chose Maria’s for our first date (she loves Italian food). Ferdy (the owner) had a nice table for us and had the dozen roses I got for her, and dropped off, waiting for her when we got there (although our waitress dropped the ball and didn’t have them on the table when we walked in). My lady ??? got the tortellini paisano and I got the chicken Parmesan. Both dishes were just…fuhgetaboutit. Absolutely delicious. What I love about Maria’s is how you smell the food the second you walk in the door. Ferdy does a great job.??? We can’t wait to go back the next time I come to town.

Nice place, looked clean and well maintained. White tablecloths. Gianna is a very pleasant hostess and server. Cocktail was mixed well, creamy chicken rice soup was very light on the chicken and rice but had a nice flavor, crab-cakes nicely presented and tasty, shrimp risotto was cooked and seasoned appropriately, contained a good amount of asparagus as described though, there was an excess of butter from cooking the shrimp scampi style. Overall a nice meal in a nice facility, I will positively recommend to my acquaintances.

What the heck Marias? You used to have the best pizza in town. It was horrible for several years and we quit ordering from you. Recently we heard that it was once again tasting like it used to be, so we tried it about a month ago. It was great! Reminded us of what the pizza used to be. We ordered tonite and it was awful. Not fully cooked, no seasoning, no parmesan. The crust stuck to the cardboard box. How can it be so inconsistent? Guess we'll order elsewhere again.

Wow! $70 for 1 lasagna that wasn’t the greatest, Rosati’s has the same kind of lasagna you do! Manicotti that was barely cooked and ricotta cheese with a texture of sand! Soup? Carrots and celery with both! I was so excited to eat that! Salad was Absolutely ridiculous, lettuce with 1 tomato 1 freaking tomato come on!! Biscuit! You actually made garlic bread from a biscuit and couldn’t even cut it in half! You just put butter and garlic on a full biscuit! I never ever talk down on a business because I run one myself but man I feel like I got scammed! Frozen food section at Walmart has better quality food.

I ordered a pizza from Maria's. There are lots of pizza places in Morris, Illinois. The reason I ordered from Maria's is because they have the best pizza. Maria's cheesecake is excellent, too. That's all.
Love the old world feel of this classic restaurant! From delivered pizzas to special celebration meals, we have always been made to feel welcome and accommodated.
We were visiting Morris had an opportunity to order from Maria’s this past weekend. Ordered medium sausage and cheese. It was delicious. Delivered still hot by Sean. Thank you.

Appetizers were good, some better than others. Had the veal picatta, sauce was great but breading was too salty. The noodles were separated making them dry. Artichoke was overpowering, like they came from a can. The burger cigars were a fantastic starter. Had live music tonight from a local guitarist, he did wonderfully.
