“We used to go to the restaurant in Edina MN and have been to the one in Chicago. Perfect breakfast restaurant. The 49er Flapjacks are fantastic, as is the waffle. The bacon is perfectly cooked. A great experience, which is why it is always crowded on the weekends.“

“Go during the week! It is hard to get a table on the weekend. Food was wonderful. I had the eggs Benedict and fruit. Everything was fresh. Our waiter was really nice. I asked for decaf coffee and he noticed I was given regular. He switched it out without hesitation.“

“I think that the coffee here is some of the best that I’ve had and my friend says that he thinks that they have the best bacon in all of Chicago. The waitstaff is friendly and kept our water and coffee cups full. My bacon waffle was perfect. This is a really good place for brunch or breakfast. You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie omelette, oatmeal, toast and a few other things that I didn’t pay attention to because I got the veggie omelette w/ hash browns.“

“I’ve been here quite a bit in the past. I was disappointed to see they raised their prices so much. The hash browns were burnt and a few times they only put one butter and one syrup in my to go bag for my pancakes. The service has normally been good. But just not worth it to me anymore for spending almost $30 on breakfast when there are other places.“
