Five of us, bill came with a 20% tip added. That's my normal tip however I hate it for them to added on there... Especially the service was sllllooooow! They came a total of five times, one when we order, three time when they drop off food and fifth time when they gave me the bill lolThe small plate, no more refill as we were charged lolFood was average and portion was smallllll lol

Portion of the food was only about half of mormal. Waitresses were rude. They expect high tips without giving fair service. Considering quality of food it's too expensive. I had bad experience a year back and had a bad experience recently. Don't eat here.

Never came again!!!!! Very bad dining experience. Google map shown the closing time was 10 pm, we drove there and they told us the closing time was 9:30. We sat down around 8:40, and ordered everything within 5 minutes. The food came out quickly, and there was a server came and helped us cook the meat on the table, we told her we would like to cook it by ourselves. The server kept saying their closing time was 9:30 multiple times, but the time at that moment was only 8:50 something. We definitely would finish and leave by 9:30. Then she left without saying anything. We were so confused, we didn’t even know if she still wanted to cook by herself or what did she want us to do. And never came back. We cooked it and finished by 9:30. We asked for some togo boxes, she told us the togo box need to charge $1.50 each. And she brought us a check with gratuity 20%. How did they think their services deserve 20% gratuity. If you plan to come, change your plan and go somewhere else. Save your money and your tip deserves a better service.

San Soo Kab San was my favorite restaurant. Always went to another loc. today is a excellent visit. Since I went to many different restaurants. First time hearing that, too go box need to charge me $1.50 each. Terrible service, always told us that they close at 9:30pm. Always remind that when they close. Even only us this one table dining. Only three people dining charge 20% tips with no service. Even turning on the fire for the BBQ, without any notice. Such my first bad review ever.

I am so excited for the the best Korean BBQ here cause I was very like this restaurant. But I wouldn't recommend this place anymore, the service are dreadful, rude unprofessional. They rush us out after we promise we will be quick and they were not providing any box for the rest of food. We have to beg them to get a box or pay out of pocket for have a to go box. I just find out why only one table dining there ( which is us). Even though have all you can eat, any special price, the business still low amount of customers.

Cannot understand so many backwards reviews of KBBQ I have noticed as of late. This was a pleasant surprise and had a wonderful experience !Service was fast, friendly and attentive along with welcoming. They were very nice and helpful throughout the process and all of our questions. I suggest skipping the shrimp. Overall, stick with the all you can eat $40.00 deal. Their brisket was the best for sure. Some sides are not automatically included ( ex. White rice, glass noodles) and some sides like their sprouts and kimchi are automatically included without question. You have to ask for refills each time which they all work together quickly to deliver. Rice cakes are not considered a side/appetizer. They cost extra as an entire dish. Pretty tasty but wish they offered as a side/appetizer included in their AYCE [20% automatic gratuity].

Our waitress was very rude. She didn't even let us finish ordering our meat and just walked away. She was very unprofessional and place a raw meat plate on top of our soup that we were still eating. I read the comments before coming here and decided to give it a try regardless of the bad reviews. But I got to say, first time and last time coming here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anymore. The food wasn't that great and you can only order three meat at a time. Extra charge if you want rice and lettecu on the side even though you got all you can eat. Automatic 20% extra charge if you eat all you can eat. They don't come check to see if we need anything else. This was a really bad experience.

We came here for a dish my wife, who is Korean, was looking forward to. I mean after all, it is on their menu. Nope. Not available. The waitress told my wife if she wanted that she should go to a different restaurant or Hmart to get the ingredients to make it herself. No sorry, Nope just go somewhere else. This place is very deceiving, they claim to be a wood charcoal BBQ, and while there are a few pieces of wood in the middle of the table, it is gas making the heat. The food should be much better for what they charge and just a few dishes of bancan is all you get. The worst thing about this place is the service. The servers are slow, rude, and don't seem to care if you get fed or not, probably because of the automatic 20 percent tip they add to the bill. My advice...go somewhere else if you want good food and good service because you will not find either here.

If your not korean this place is not for you. If you watch them serve a table with korean guest you can see a big smile and friendliness and when they got to our table it seems like they just don't care. You'll get judge the way you look and your race. Food was okay but the food service was terrible and it makes us uncomfortable to stay. We got the AYCE but we did not even order another food just because we're so disappointed and unwelcome we felt while we're eating there. They just gave us the food that we order and did not even turn on the grill. And they just looking at us and seems wondering why we haven't started cooking. Anyway the 1 star is for the latina busser who turn on our grill cause the servers just standing in there and doing gossip.

This is definitely one of those Asian establishments where it's good food, terrible service. Meats like beef brisket, pork belly, and bulgogi were delicious, no complaints. We liked the sides. The highlight was the egg souffle. Without a doubt the best quality egg souffle of the kbbq restaurants I've tried so far. While we were eating our lunch, the Korean staff were having their own lunch at the same time?? It was difficult to figure out when we could get more food and water and get our grills replaced. Plus: huge dining space with free parking.

After several years, my kids and I came back here for their AYCE BBQ. We wanted the BEEF SHORT RIBS, so we picked the$38.99/ person deal. We have just walked in the couple of times we have been here, there was no wait or problem getting a table. The servers were very efficient and prompt. I didn't mind the no smiles or unfriendliness from them, they were providing effective service anyway. Our server took our orders, another staff gave us all the side dishes and water, and another staff took care of the grill. The appetizers were good too, we had the egg souffle', corn cheese, mandu, and the japchae of course. For proteins, we had the PREMIUM CHADOL, BEEF SHORT RIBS, PREMIUM PORK BELLY, and the SPICY CALAMARI. I liked all of them but the best for me were the short ribs and the calamari. The calamari had a nice kick on the marinade and we cooked them just right. The place has always been clean, the servers were on top of things on all the tables because they helped each other, and the food was consistently good. I also liked the fact that we never had to wait in line for a table. I definitely would come back here for Korean BBQ.P.S. 20% gratuity will be automatically added to the bill so additional tip is optional.

DONT COME TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANNA TREATED BADLY AND POORLY. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RESTAURANT. The staffs are so rude. Costumer service was soo bad. Seated right after but took soo long for the food to come( it was not busy) And they gave us a wrong order and we ate without knowing and they forced us to pay for the wrong given food since we ate. The food tasted so bad and portion size was so small. And after the service when we asked for the check they automatically charged tip. We were about to argue for the gratuity tip because we dont wanna pay for treated poorly. THIS PLACE REALLY NEED TO CHECK ON THEIR STAFFS. IF I KNEW I WOULD HAVE CHECK THE REVIEW AND NEVER COME HERE.

Do not do not do not go here. This place is horrible - asked for a extra big bowl and they refused - they actually said we don't do that - are you serious. The food was horrible - the soup is basically watered pepper water - repeat do not do not go here you have been warnedabsolutely no service - had to get our own water, our own napkins and when asked for more side dishes they ended up not getting it. Then they charged us a large party 20% fee because we had kids - a two year old and a 3 year old As a lifelong Chicagoan they place is absolutely dreadful

You guys are over dramatic ! Service here are fast and good. Do some homework before you come here ! Before I came in I read few reviews and got scared that I might picked the wrong place turn out just fine!!!!We didn't do AYCE because my friend wasn't that hungry. If you want to do the grill you at least have to pick 2 meat. They charge for to-go boxes. $1.50 / per one.Short ribs are bit pricey.Just do some basic homework of k-bbq and this place would just be fine.Ppl who dinner in here are mostly Korean so you can tell is a legit one.
