Bar & Grill near Mounds

“If I could give half stars, I would rate this a 4.5 I didn't want to go down to a 4, so I gave a 5. This restaurant was SUCH a happy surprise for my husband and me road-tripping! We came around Christmas time, and we were pleasantly surprised to see messages about Jesus on their sign! When we pulled up to the parking lot we knew it must be great due to the volume of cars. We went to the dining room, not the pub side. At the door was a picture of baby Jesus in His manger with a message, "The True Meaning of Christmas". The restaurant was neat and cozy and decorated so cutely and festively Brent and I even lit our candle on the table to set the mood. ‍‍‍ Our server was young and cute, not the most attentive throughout our time there (which I think was because she was VERY busy juggling a lot of orders), but she got the job done. I got the .50 wings - 10 Honey Garlic - and a side of Huck's potatoes and onions (which were like home fries). Wings: DELISH, I just wish they had come out hot for me! They felt like they'd been sitting a little before I received them. The potatoes were very yummy, especially with the house made Jalapeño Ranch (the regular Ranch is not house made, which I am big about). My sweet tea was great as well. Brent ordered a plain, well-done burger and fries and he was ECSTATIC over all of it. At the end of our meal, we gave our server a JESUS SAVES wristband that we always hand out, and she gave us a couple of "Proud to be an American" koosies and a couple books of matches. I thought that was sweet and cute of her We HIGHLY recommend this place - I hope to return in our travels“

“Every visit to the Horseshoe Bar & Grill is always great! Today was no different! The absolute BEST tasting hamburger ever! We were two couples, and we both split the Logan Burgers with Cajun Fries! Our PHENOMENAL waitress had our Burgers & Fries split into two baskets, and even split my sister & brother-in-laws's drink for them! She surely went above & beyond in customer service! I never got her name, but would definitely love to praise her EXCELLENT customer service ?! That's we we always return with friends & family to this "diamond in the rough"! I hope that you can share this review with others! Keep up the FANTASTIC service ?!“
