The most important thing is that when all restaurants have increased their prices, they can still maintain the set meal for Chinese food for only $9.99, including soup and spring rolls! This is a Chinese Sichuan restaurant, so the main dishes are spicy. Customers who can't eat spicy food should consider it carefully, but many of their non-spicy dishes are also very good.“

The nice woman at the counter had them make BBQ Pork Fried Rice for me, to go with an order of BBQ Pork and it was all very good! The prices were standard for what Chinese food costs these days. It was so good. I came back 2 days later for more of the rice and had the Chicken with Broccoli and it was very good as well! “Food was pretty good in you're in a pinch, plus they open early. The interior is cozy and neat and their service was quick and amicable. Ordered chicken curry, chicken fried rice, and a couple of eggrolls. The eggrolls were pretty standard and the fried rice was tasty, albeit just a bit too oily, and the chicken curry was fragrant and scrumptious but not as spicy as I would have preferred. I am a FAN of chinese food, but no where around suburbs and chicago will you find such FRESH food! Veggies are perfectly done, meat is perfectly cooked! Sauce is amazing taste! I had their Happy Family Dish , Chicken fried rice and Khan Pau Chicken .

“Whenever I try a new old style chinese restaurant, I get shrimp with lobster sauce and bbq pork something, like bbq pork fried rice or vegetables, etc.

Shrimp with lobster sauce is a very nostalgic food for me. It was something I tried 15~ish years ago from this small chinese restaurant near work. It was $5.45 lunch specials at the time, and I wanted to try something other than monglian beef, generals Tsao chicken etc.
And i fell in love ever since.

I love brown starch sauce that is made with, and it needs to have black beans and stripes of pork and egg. But some restaurants tend to make this with white sauce with pea and ground pork, or just not enough salt or msg.

Well, this place make it perfectly how I wanted, and less than 9 bucks. You can't beat this deal.
The only thing to critize is that chicken fried rice was not good...it was dry and maybe a day old.

Bbq pork was also really good, cut thick the way I also like it. You can taste rice oyster sauce, and vegetables were cooked well.

It definitely reminded me of the old spot that I loved and will be coming back to try more dishes.“

“Our order was ready 10 minutes early so we were glad we came early. There was one table of diners in a relatively nondescript dining room but lots of carry out orders. Our egg rolls were tasty but without the traditional Chinese fried outside. These were pretty greasy but had more meat than vegetables which was a pleasant surprise. They came only with a Chile sweet sauce and it added to the taste. Our potstickers were just ok and had a slightly gooey exterior. \nOur main courses included Mongolian beef which was much higher quality beef than most places offer. Nice flavor and sauce. Our noodle dish with chicken was also flavorful as were the moo shu chicken ingredients. \nPrices were on the high side but the portions were generous and the quality deserved it. The value was great and we would return.“

“This Chinese restaurant is primarily a take out place. We stopped here because we found it on our way. Not knowing it was take out, they only have one small table if you decide to eat in.
